Elaborate.

i went to a Catholic high school, so it was for my religion class. i don't remember most of what i wrote, but if you're open minded enough, you'll see some Biblical allusions. Some feel a little forced, some are kind of obvious.

some that i can think of at the top of my head:

-Scar killing Mufasa = Cain and Abel
-Mufasa dying to save his son = Christ dying to save humanity (reminds me of Narnia too)
-Simba being held up on Pride Rock, in front of everyone = kinda like Baptism, when you're presented and welcomed to God's Kingdom
-Simba fleeing = Moses wandering around beginning a new life, and returning as a leader
- Simba returning when he's all grown up (i think there's a scene when he goes up Pride Rock again when he's grown up) = kinda like Confirmation, when you take on the responsibilities you have in the Church
- Nala finding Simba first = this might be a little out there, but this scene totally reminded me of Mary Magdalene finding Christ first when He resurrected
- Timon and Pumba helping Simba = the idea of outcasts doing some good work: the Good Samaritan

ahhhh i can't think of anything else

I remember accidentally dropping the remote and it happened to land on BET, and for some reason, some wack kids decided to make a song called "Crank Dat Lion King". I was tempted to throw the remote through the TV just to make it stop

It's phenomenal. The costumes, stage designs, music etc is breath taking. Definitely check it out on Broadway. It's worth the money, trust me.

I wanna see it in 3D again. I swear, there were more adults in the theaters than there were kids. Everyone was singing along and clapping while singing and laughing as if they haven't heard the jokes before. It was greatttt

I saw it in 3D today. Being one of my favorites movies growing up, I think I was more excited to see it than my niece was. Would love to see it at night during the week, rather than a Sunday afternoon. But I forgot how much I loved this movie. Everything about it.

how was it in 3D? i saw it in 2D this weekend and it ruled. but i think it could actually be pretty sweet in 3D, if its done right...

nope. its the original version. it doesn't have that stupid "Morning Report" song shoved in there.

3D is a big hit or miss for me, but this was definitely done well. Not too many screen popping moments, but what was done was just enough. Better than Toy Story 3D I'd say.
