I'm in a pickle.

I'm capable of getting an NCEA diploma. It's one of the easiest programs ever. You don't have to do Science or Maths, which is convenient because I'm shit at both. The catch is, it really only gets you anywhere in Australia and New Zealand. I'm not particularly fond of New Zealand and although going to Australia for Uni wouldn't be such a bad idea for me personally, my parents would much prefer if I went to study in the UK because we're from there so we get some financial help from the government or some shit, I dunno the details.

I'm no way capable of getting an IB diploma. The work's too hard and, as much as I know it's all my own fault and whatnot, I'm lazy and I don't know half a shit about most subjects as a result. I could only get into a UK Uni if I did IB, though. Plus, it adds a lot to your credibility to be able to say you have an IB diploma.

I could just drop out of high school at the end of this year, but it's not like I'd have anything waiting for me but a job at Wendy's and a bad rep. It's not really an option for me.

Maybe this is more suited for PL, but any help/advice would be appreciated.

What about international A-Levels? I took them, I suppose the study load is less demanding than IB since you only have to do 3 subjects. Many centers offer applications for private candidates, check your local international school or something.
