because the offspring is worthless now. ever since "pretty fly for a white guy," im pretty sure the band has gone nowhere besides downhill. every record they've released since then has been beating a dead horse.
hes probably excited to play in a project thats worth a shit now.

By your previous bands standards, the last blink 182 album had additional guitar lines etc on it. When I saw you tring to play the newer songs live, it was extremely noticable that there was alot missing and the newer songs kind of fell flat.

Now, with the AvA album having even more tracks (95+ on most songs as you said in a recent interview) how the hell are you going to replicate it live without;

a) sounding shitty
b) resorting to heavy use of backing tracks.

This isn't me having a go at AvA, because I actually love what I have heard so far, I just really am wondering

You say this is the music you always wanted to make, but could it in reality be the music that feels right for the moment just like what you wrote in the past? Do you see yourself in 15 more years thinking again you want a totaly different sound or do you think you will be content?

Do you ever miss touring in a van, or because after years of van touring and bus, prefer the situation now?

Will your family come out on the road with you?

In the past you mentioned your brother was in the armed forces, is he back home now?

Do you feel theres a stigma attached to you because of the type of music you played in the fast, and it will harderfor people to except who you are now?

I'm just curious as to how you are going to combat this live, will there be any additional musicians (e.g - keyboard) ? 1. I have read numerous interviews on the subject of Box Car Racer and I've read about how it really hurt Marks feelings, and this question has been burning inside of me ever since I first heard the Box Car Racer record a few years ago...if BCR had nothing to do with Mark or if he was so hurt then why does he have guest vocals on one of the songs near the end of the record?

2. Will you eventually be adding a Minneapolis date to this small tour or will you be having a full US tour after you play overseas in which Minneapolis will be on. Because it seems that the past few months not very many huge bands have added Minneapolis to their tours.

I find it hard to believe that you wanted Travis to do the drumming for Box Car Racer because you did not want to pay a studio musician. Who wouldn't want Travis on their album? He is an awesome drummer. I can understand if you don't want to talk to the public about what was happening with blink, but don't lie about it. Loved the BCR album, but I gotta feel bad for Mark. It seemed like you guys were really good friends; if so, that had to hurt his feelings and be embarassing. Of course, I don't know what all was going on. I'm looking forward to the AVA album, and I hope you, Mark, and Travis get your issues worked out. You and Mark were like a great couple. I used to have a friend like that, and it took me years to accept the fact that we both just changed and really don't have enough in common to stay in contact. I don't really want to be friends anymore, but I will always love her, and a little bit of me would like to have just a little bit of what we used to have.
