Both of these players in my eyes are excellent.
Redick is 6'4, he's got leadership qualities, a nice shot, and he's a team player.
Morrison reminds me of Troy Polomalu of The Pittsburgh Steelers only in Basketball. He doesn't look like he fits in, but his talent and passion always shines through his image.

One thing I didn't mention before, Morrison may not be able to conversate and be normal in the NBA. Redick is a sports player who loves the game, I think Morrison is more in love with showing emotion.
morrison does, and there is no counter argument.
Redick no quesiton.
He's played against top notch competiton his whole career.
Morrison's been score 40+ on players who will be using their degrees later in life. Also, Morrison couldn't guard my mom. Plus, I think he's insane.

I love JJ Reddick with all my heart but a lot of NBA GM's say Adam Morrision has the potential of being a hall of famer and JJ is destined for a so-so career

Morrison is beating out Reddick.
The more I think of it, I think I should of went with Reddick.
Morrison seems to be to much of a rebel for the NBA. It's used to having everything in front of him. Plus he needs to lose the haircute and moustache. He'll get no respect in the NBA. And I know someone is gonna bring up Steve Nash, but it's clear they are two different individuals.

i think JJ might become the next Trajan Langdon, so i went with Morrison. with that said, though, JJ has a lot to prove after his last performance so maybe that'll give him some determination to succeed in the NBA.

Reddick's been more consistent for a longer period of time

I think Morrison can score more than JJ, but JJ plays great defense and has become a great passer. I think JJ will be a great all around player.

im gonna have to say morrison, im convinced reddicks gonna be a role player in the nba... he might go down as one of the best outside shooters ever in the nba but surely isnt gonna have an dominant impact on the game when its said and done. morrison has more potential overal...
but im not sold on either yet because they didnt show up in the big games in the turney...

Morrison has a better all around game and can do more things on the offensive end

I like this comparison. Then again I'm a huge Steelers and Polamalu fan so why wouldn't I like it? Haha.

I like and respect both players but I think in the long run that JJ will have a better career.

neither. id say Mike Gansey out of West Virgina.
although he did go to my high school, so my opinion may be biased...
Adam Morrison eats babies. He also cries like a baby. JJ Redicks tears, much like Chuck Norris', cure cancer. It's just too bad that neither have them have ever cried.
morrison dropped 40 in the maui, against michigan state, and maryland, and uconn. yeahh, his conference sucked this year, but the dude is six eight, and can hit contested jump shots, and can't play defense.
reddick is the next average shooter on a bad team.

Adam is bigger and will be stronger and harder to guard, but Reddick has the shot, but I think alot of the NBA guards will play better defense on him then he has seen in college...just my opinion though

No offense, but all of you that picked Redick are complete idiots. I can't believe that more than half of you picked him. You have no future as a GM in sports. That was all nicely put. I'm sorry, but Adam Morrison should be a top three pick for sure. Redick will probably go around 15, but I wouldn't even pick him in the first round. Just watch.

You just don't get it, though. Be that pure of a shooter in college and you can be simply amazing. In the NBA everyone is way more talented and athletic, especially on defense. You need more than just shooting in the NBA. Look at the NBA's best pure shooters (Ray Allen, Peja, Cuttino)... they all are great shooters, but have their own intangibles that make them such great players. Redick is soley a shooter. He can make it in the NBA, and maybe for years to come, but at the same level as a Steve Kerr, or Jeff Hornacek at best.

redick will be a better player. soley on the fact he is a better long range shooter, plays better defense, and his free throw percentage will get him by. he has learned to drive to the basket better and has added that facet to his game.
morrison is not good enough defensively and is rather psycho. i guess he will self-destruct or something. he also didnt play against top competition repeatedly like redick did. he also CRIED BEFORE his team had lost in the tournament. who cries when they should be trying to win a TOURNAMENT game?

i think both of these players are great competitors and have a great chance to become a huge part of the nba. i have a great deal of respect for both as well. mainly because they both have a great deal of heart, but i just see morrison making more of an impact than redick.

Trajan Langdon never panned out in the nba due to the fact that he was a great shooter in college against the zone defense, at that time zone wasn't even allowed in the pros. Reddick was double teamed his extire college career. Reddick will definatley handle the nba easier. Both will be good but neither will be great.

morrison without a doubt, he is emotional, but you want that passion on your team. i have a biased for gonzaga because im from washington state, and gonzaga is only an hour away, but i mean look at the kid, he can shoot over anyone, create fouls better than anyone i've seen at that level, and he can score against the best (michigan state, UCONN, UCLA.) give the kid a chance, he will impress, just wish he would have stayed in college for one more year.

Morrisson is too soft and not ready for NBA which he displayed by breaking down and crying in the tournament before the game was over. Reddick will do great in the NBA as a bench player to come in and shoot the lights out.

I have yet to see JJ actually play defense. He will be shat upon in the NBA.

J.J Redick.
i honestly can't see why anyone would not vote for reddick in this poll......other than to piss off Tate. i think the bigger question is who will step up for Duke this year with Reddick and Williams gone.
I have yet to see JJ actually play defense. He will be shat upon in the NBA.
i know, i saw that and had to see if anyone commented on that cus JJ and defense don't go well together

JJ plays defense??? Im a hardcore Maryland fan and ive watched JJ torch us up and choke against us, but one thing i did not see was him play defense. He'll be a poor man's Kyle Korver in the NBA with bacne. I do believe he could be a great offensive player off the bench to provide a team with a spark but he wont be an allstar starter. Morrison has star potential and will contribute right away
