one of my buddies from college released an album entitled What He Overheard Repeatedly Everyday.

it's pop-punk music, but much more complex than most. the instrumentation reminds me of say anything's album ...Is A Real Boy in a lot of ways, and in a few songs there are hints of jazz influence as well. the vocals arent as precise as most modern pop-punk records, but they are honest and unpretentious -- think early blink 182/early bright eyes. whats really cool about it is he recorded every instrument, and produced and mixed it himself, i think he did a pretty good job, not to mention hes a really talented musician. please listen and give honest opinions, my friend would really appreciate it.

But seriously, the vocals are grating on my ears and the lyrics are quite dreadful; however, the music in the background IS very Say Anything-inspired (At least IARB) and any fan of that ilk of pop-punk will dig this.

Yeah, as he said, it's definitely meant for those who grew up with Cheshire Cat. I actually mostly listened to Buddah as a kid, and seeing as it is my CD, that information is pretty relevant. Thanks for the comments so far!

Thank you Ryan, guess I'll have to buy you lunch or something now =]

You have friends? Better yet, you have female friends? Color me (no pun intended) suprised.

Will give this a listen in a bit
