This is a tough one for me, but I went with Geoff Rickly of Thursday, though out of these three, Thursday is my least favorite band.
In my opinion:
Saves The Day > Brand New > Thursday
but
Geoff Rickly > Chris Conley > Jesse Lacey

Deja Entendu was an incredible record, I know that.
But I believe it was that it was more the lyrics and instruments that sold the record, not Jesse Lacey.
That's why I thought it was so incredible.

Conley has the best range and is the best vocalist but has the worst voice...if that makes sense.

thursday makes amazing music, but they don't necessarily have a great vocalist. not that i'm complaining, it still sounds awesome

i picked jesse, because on the album (Deja) his voice is incredible. but if i went with live bands, i'd pick geoff, becuase the live stuff i've heard from brand new isnt a vocally strong as their records are.
chris has a really good range, and i like his voice, but it gets kind of annoying sometimes.

There are a LOOOOOT of vocal effects on Deja. Live, Jesse is not that impressive. He sounds like a goat sometimes. Chris is the best, IMO, trained vocalist out of the three. But for me, the best voice is Geoff.

but I think its all REALLY close.
I think Chris has an awesome voice, so does Geoff. But Jesse gets me everytime on "Play Crack the Sky"

Chris destroys Jesse Lacy, he isn't anything special at all.
Saves The Day totally reinvent themselves with every album and so do the vocals, he has more range than most singers I know.

Brand New one of my faovrite bands, but jesse isn't anything other than an above average vocalist. I like chris's vocals on tbc. I listen to little thursday.

yeah, like these people said ...chris is the best trained vocalist, but i'd say jesse has the best voice. for the overall package, i still gotta say chris conley. i think matthew pryor owns all of these 3 though.

hmmm....this looks like more of a popularity contest eh?
I think Chris and Geoff have more unique voices than Jesse does by FAR.
Aside from that, Chris' voice shows alot of range and versatility from CSD - STA, and in all the years Ive been listening to them, Chris always does a great job live and is also really really good at harmonies.
Geoff's voice has sounded the same forever and he runs out of breath alot.
Jesse used to sing pretty poorly back around 02.....and his voice has very limited range compared to the others.... he has a good voice but its nothing special at all.
I played the Brand New demos for someone and they didnt even figure out it was Jesse.
verdict = Chris > Geoff > Jesse

Although I love all these bands, I voted for Chris Conley. All three have amazing voices and talent out the wahzoo, but Saves the Day is my favorite band of all time. Like LeftWideOpen said, if Matthew Pryor was on here, I would of voted for him

I went with Geoff. I like Chris, but I like Geoff's mroe than his. And I'm jsut biased because I do not like Jesse Lacey at all.

Thursday has incredible music and are an incredible band. I love their cd's but the only thing on their records that I get annoyed with sometimes is Ricklys vocals. He has a pretty unique voice and I'm not a huge fan of it. After seeing both Conley and Lacey perform a couple times. I'm going to have to say that Chris has the best vocals.

This is nuts. how is brand new winning this by a landslide? yeah brand new is a good band and deja is a good record but come on? thats just insane because its clear that those who voted have never never listened to any of the saves the day records of arent even giving chris a chance. i think geoff is a great vocalist. he can really capture emotion really good but in all honestly... i think chris should win this. he's been able to reinvent himself on every record (even though on sound the alarm they were a bit whinny but thats still in my cd player) and he does awsome live unlike brand new where jessy is a bit off sometimes. but i dont care and this may not make sense but geoff is awsome live. i voted for saves the day. maybe i'm more of saves the day fan i duno but i think its totally bogus how everyone is obsessed with brand new and how jesse is winning this. yeah its just a poll but i'm really bored and family guy is on in 40minutes :)

I prefer Jesse's vocals the best out of these 3. Chris has the unique ability to change vocal styles every album but he is very nasal on the new record which gets to me at times. Geoff is actually not too great a singer but his style fits the band.
i'd say geoff solely based off the song "autumn leaves revisited"

I agree Chris whines, but I'm in love with that.
Jesse Lacey does talk, he sings in merely 75% of the songs. (If that)
Geoff wins cause he has more talent and a better range then either of the two.

Best Vocalist? Chris Conley, easily. Nobody else on that list even comes close to hitting notes like Conley does.
Lyrics, however, go to Jesse Lacey hands down.

brand news my favorite band jesse inspires the majority of what ive written and they were my first band that felt like i was going to like them until i was old and grey
so i ues with that send i cant even tell if jesse sucks at singing because hes like a heor of mine no matter what
