The "Survival Special" was the series finale of Bizarre Foods. Bizarre World premieres on September 1, but there's a half hour preview playing sporadically on the Travel Channel. There was also a Bizarre World Turkey special that aired last year.

Damn, I had no idea that was the series finale! What a bummer. Still, this show will be good and I'm sure he'll still be eating strange food along the way. Zimmern is one of my favorite hosts and I'll watch anything that he's a part of. Interested in what he'll do in Wisconsin.

Judging from some of the pictures in the slideshow, he'll definitely still be eating bizarre foods.

I didnt know Bizarre Foods was done! I didnt catch any episodes from this season, I need to check those out On Demand soon.

though i've enjoyed a few episodes of bizarre foods, i prefer anthony bourdain's no reservations
