Agreed. I can't really understand the hate people have for these guys, but I love them. Do they sound somewhat like FOB? They have similar styles, but the lyrical content for PATD is beyond FOB (which is funny considering they're what, all 18 year olds?). It's the type of music you can just always enjoy because it's catchy, but not disgustingly poppy.

SO, Panic is a rip off of Fall Out Boy? Well whose Fall Out Boy a Rip Off of? The Starting Line, well they're a rip off of New Found Glory, right? But NFG is a rip off of Blink 182, right? IM pretty sure that when panic started their band, they weren't like lets sound like Fall Out Boy. When he next pop-punk what have you band comes out, everyone will be claiming that they are just a rip-off of Panic at the Disco. The truth is, to the common ear it all sounds the same, just a guess, but I think it might be the genre of music that they play. None of these bands are ripping each other off, because they all descended from other influences in the same genre. It's a pop-punk timeline.

listen to the wise words of nate.... ive seen this band twice about 4 months apart, and in those 4 months they improved immensely.... i can only imagine how much better they'll be in 2 years.

It's true i saw them those two times aswell and the first time wasn't the greatest but still ok then the second time was actually pretty damn good the crowd was fuckin' amped for it too..i guess that helps though. I'm actually looking forward to seeing them in a small venue the two times we saw them was at the crappy docks.

Probably when they headline they'll come here in smaller venues. Hopefully....

The Docks is the worst venue in Toronto besides Arrow fuckin' Hall. It's not just the line-ups if you go early you're good to go. It's the actual venue It's not wide enough and it's way way to deep So if you're not 6' 3 you're fucked. Unless you're in the crowd and my girlfriend doesn't like that much anymore and me neither in fact. Unless it's a straight up punk show.

and i'd like to see Panic at the Opera House or The Phoenix that would be sweet.

It's just that this band isn't even trying to hide the fact that they're ripping off a popular band. The singers sound the same and it's like they borrowed FOB's equipment and setting to record their CD....and added a keyboard or something for spice
