The Breakfast Club, Sixteen Candles and Pretty in Pink should be required viewing for every high school student for all time.

One of my favorites, definitely having a marathon this weekend
God, I love so many of his movies. The Breakfast Club is probably my favourite though.
RIP.

R.I.P. I really like many of those movies--didn't know he was involved with all of them until now.

I woke up to this crazy news. Home Alone ruled so hard, along with all the other films he did.

Also, there's not enough love for Planes, Trains, and Automobiles. That was one of the few movies everyone in my family would watch together when I was a little kid.

Molly Ringwald wrote a beautiful eulogy to him about how she loved him warts and all

It's a great little piece, and I'm happy that there was some form of reconciliation after their falling out.
I watched The Breakfast Club for like the millionth time the other night. It is such a fantastic movie that I can watch from beginning to end over and over without it getting old.
