i hate bill walton, but his stupidity is extremely entertaining at times.

my favorite walton moment is years ago, i believe during one of the years the rockets won it. it was a playoff game and it was a back and forth game the entire first half. it's coming down to the final minute of the half and walton says something along the lines of, 'these teams are so evenly matched. it's been a one point game back and forth the whole half. i think the team that goes into the locker room down a point is in the best position.'

he tried to explain himself, and a person of average intelligence could have made his point make some sense, but the people calling the game with him went off. they just made fun of him the rest of the time. drexler was at the free throw line down 2 with less than 5 seconds in the half, and they just kept asking walton that if he were the coach if he'd make drexler miss the second one so they'd go into the half with the advantage. it was so ridiculous it was funny.

i don't know why i still remember that, but i can't hear him talk to this day without thinking of that.

Actually, the best was when Bill Walton was commentating a Lakers game and Luke Walton dunked it..the other announcer was like, "That was pretty nice! What a dunk!" and Bill Walton was just like "It was a good move, I guess."

He sounded so bored, it was hysterical.

I have to add this.....

I was playing Madden 06 against Peyton and the Colts and I couldnt believe how real it was. He audibled EVERY SINGLE PLAY. I'm not saying one here and one there, it was EVERY ONE! I couldn't believe it, it was rather funny to watch edgerrin james go up to the line with his hands at his ears and peyton with his hands at his ears then seeing the receivers go to the opposite sides. He usually followed this up with a long bomb 80 yards down the field which was incomplete. No other QB in the game does this.
