Now, I'm a centrist, I try and as hard as I might to not be bias. I am admittedly a bit more to the left. I don't like the healthcare reform bill, because it will increase our debt, and the spending to me seems slightly out of control. So I wonder where this bitch (Pelosi) comes off calling the majority of Americans (like me) a Nazi. Now this is where I go into how this is a personal matter to me and maybe others who oppose this bill. I was raised in a JEWISH FAMILY.

Now, people here are fairly left usually. But I please ask that you think about this. I don't carry Swastikas. I'm a kid who no longer practices Judaism (admitted an atheist, though in technicality, being Jewish is a heritage so I do consider myself a Jew). It's hard for me to see how this total SELF-ABSORBED BITCH comes across saying THESE THINGS!!!!


Any opinions on this? Are you offended? Do you support the healthcare reform and are you offended by this statement (which really doesn't matter to me if support it). But if someone legitimately believes in something, they have to be considered less? Is this ELITISM that we were told was coming from the Right? And the fact is there is ELITISM on BOTH. There are no opinions in this matter of what Pelosi said and did not say. The facts are clear:

She did not use the word nazi.
Therefore, there was no possible way she was calling anyone a nazi.
She mentioned swastikas, because those are the symbols they are utilizing to describe Obama.
Your outrage is more biased and one sided than mine because you are only offended by being characterized a nazi yourself and are defending the people who utilizing the symbolism.
