Nice.
Anyway, one of my top 10 bands of all time. I'm excited, even if the only original member is Spider One. Adam 12 is in She Wants Revenge and the rest are just... missing.

And that relates to this new how? And what do you mean "was"? They just came out with a new album last year. It doesn't sound much like the previous material though, becuase they got a new singer. I like it all the same, though.

they were one of the only good nu-metal bands. orgy was too. then they made that new cd which blew major balls. who else was there...??

he is prolly thinking that Korn lead singer is half brother of powerman 5000 lead.
powerman 5000 has played 2 shows in the chicago land area recently at a really small venue, like maybe holds 500.

I had thought everyone forgot about Powerman 5000. My band opened for them at the Starland Ballroom on March 5, and there were WAY more people than I expected to be there... with local ticket sales and everything I think they said there was about 1700 sold. I think Powerman were cool because they really obviously never took themselves too seriously. They're a fun band, and nu metal or not, they are a blast to watch. Welcome back!

If you read what they thought of their sound and the sacrifices they made to avoid the mainstream and the nu metal boom in AP in 2002 you would all respect this band. They aren't nu-metal on the whole. Maybe some singles, but they are a punk band.

no i was comparing the fact that ademas singer is jon davis' (korn) half brother and spider one is the brother of Rob Zombie, and both bands came out shortly after their respective brother's careers blew up.
These guys never really went anywhere, they just kinda fell off the scales after Tonight the Stars Revolt. They made a couple minor blips on the radar when they did the cover of "Relax" for the Zoolander soundtrack and then scrapped an entire new album(Anyone for Doomsday) shortly after and started completely over. They did get some decent radio play from the single "Free" from that reworked new album in 2003.
So its actually been only 3 years since they had new material....
And on a completely unrelated note whatever happened to Dynamite Hack? Anyone know? Im still suprised to this day that their quick rise to mid-level fame was an even faster dissappearing act. For god sake they were touring with Weezer at one time. I wonder if the demise of their universal subsidiary "Farm Club" had something to do with never relasing another disc. I love me some Wussypuff, Dear Kate, and Anyway. Would love some info on the last source anyone can find of their wherabouts.

Anyone For Doomsday was finally released last year. You can get it from their site. I have it.

From all accounts, it appears these guys are NOT the same.
Adam 12 in She Wants Revenge is the white guy. The guy from SWR is Justin Warfield or something like that...and he bears an UNCANNY resemblance to Adam 12 from Powerman 5000. Supposedly they have different last names and everything...from everything I have learned from searching about it, it appears that the two guys in the bands are not the same guy.
