I liked it overall but what a terrible ending. His best friend dies and all of the suddent the guy just goes straight laced? I don't believe that for a second.

If you watched the movie well ahhhhhh you would have saw stevo was getting tired of that way of life, from the girl he liked getting fucked by antoher guy to seeing his friend from high school(who was also a punk and lived the same way as stevo) was a bum begging for change.

I use to love it when I was in high school, and then I recently tried watching it and it was just very annoying. Jason Segel was the only upside to the film.

Good movie.

Overrated.

I wonder if it has anything to do with the fact that the word "punk" is in the title.

im going to make a remake called "ATL Punk" all time low punk...about how all time low punk kids often get in fights with skin-heads, and are in constant brawls with the NAZI Starting Line Punks. Now we're talking something this site can chew on.

All time low fan walks into a 7/11...everyone looks at them, "look at those weirdos... get out of my store FREAKS". "Hey man, we just love All time Low and hate society..." This will be a good movie

I used to love this movie so much! It's been years since I've watched it though. I always think about popping it in, but I don't want to watch it and feel like a couple of people have mentioned and end up thinking less of it. I may check it out again soon though.

I have a strong hatred for this film based almost entirely upon the people in my life while growing up who would talk about it incessantly like it was a film destined for the annals of great film. When I watched it, I saw some decent dialog, some really amateurish acting, a couple really sophomoric drug induced "crazy" sequences, and not a lot of purpose.

I remember this being good when I was 14... Revisited some months ago, could barely get interested.

Loved it in High School...love it just as much today, although my days of quoting it and dying my hair blue like Stevo's are GONE

Haha, I watched this yesterday.
I thought the message hit the nail on the head and actually had a pretty amazing message.
Like, some of these kids run around dying their hair insane colors, getting piercings, and destroying things just to live up to the label "punk." But, they really don't understand that THEM doing these things just to live up to a label, is totally against what the culture is about. If you guys remember what the chick that Steve-O fell for said, she says, "Why do you go out of your way just to look like a bum?" Then she says something like, "If you were a real punk, wouldn't it be rebellious NOT to dye your hair blue and buy 'punky' clothes? You look like....a punk." That was just a genius quote, lol.
I just realized that with whatever you do, it's about going out on a limb without a structure, and letting the structure create itself. That's why "punk" culture is amazing to me, especially the music. Some of these bands just go out on a fucking limb, doing whatever they feel, however they want to, and it comes out to be this big ball of beautiful crazyness. Because it's so raw and from the heart.

I don't know if I'm the only one who got so deep into the movie, lol, but yeah.
