Underminded (http://www.myspace.com/underminded) have recently been let out of their contract with Kung Fu Records. The band plan on recording four new demos before their upcoming tour dates with Protest The Hero and their tour with Folly and One Dead Three Wounded. The band are looking for a new home, any labels interested in hearing the demos should email the band's manager (aaron@decoymusic.com).

I never thought underminded was a band that fit on kung fu anyway. I think underminded would be good on a label like trustkill or ferret.

Hmm, I wonder why they were let out of their contract. Did they not sell that many albums? They didn't have the typical sound of a Kung Fu band, but they were promising, and I'm really surprised Kung Fu let them go.

Kung Fu Records have decided to get out of the development business. They will no longer be releasing any CDs from any bands other than specialty stuff from The Vandals, Tsunami Bomb, and DVDs with their partnership with West Coast Choppers.

So does that mean old Ataris and Audio Karate albums will be difficult to find in the future?

I think they'd go great with either Eulogy or Equal Vision.
