Favorite Lagwagon Album?

One of my favorite bands, and so underrated. I think they are morbidly overlooked by the 'kids' today. One of the best skatepunk/emo bands ever.

oh and for the record, Hoss. With Double Plaid a close second. They're all good though, except Duh...that one sounds pretty dated. Also, although its loved, Trashed is way overrated. for 1994, it slays. for 2006, its their second worst album.

i think that whole genre (fast southern california melodic punk) was so forgotten about, even during when blink was at their peak. alot of it is garbage, but it's help shape many many bands that are big today.

Lagwagon is fucking awesome, with Double Plaidinum being my favorite of theirs. They are on of the only bands I listened to when I was 16 that is still all around (lyrically/musically) relevant. Joey Cape is so overlooked it is sickening. His Bad Astronaut and Acoustic stuff (with Tony Sly) is also good shit. Some of these kids bust nuts over Hit the Lights and what not when a little Lagwagon could really remedy their desire for good melody driven punk music.

Hey, just to add a little flavor to this already good poll, what are some of your favorite Lagwagon songs? "Twenty-Seven", "A Feedbag of Truckstop Poetry," and "After You My Freind" are some of the most memorable.

hmmm my favorite songs...'violins' is probably my favorite...'27' as you said...'automatic'...'may 16th' (thats way at the top too)...'burn'...'a feedbag'...'whipping boy'....'know it all'...'after you my friend'....basically everything off of hoss and double plaidinum is the shit.

How the HELL is "Let's Talk About Feelings" winning this thing!?! You people are crazy!!! That has to be their worst album, the one where they just let go of their sound to go pop... At least Blaze and Resolve brought them back! Anyway, DUH remains my favorite Lag record, with Double Plaidinum and Hoss right behind. I think saying DUH is dated is irrelevant; it's a snapshot of mid-90s skate-punk, and I still listen to it regularly, enjoying it immensely each and every time! Favorite songs include: Bury The Hatchet, Beer Goggles, Of Mind and Matter and Stop Whining (from DUH); Violins, Bombs Away, Sick and Razor Burn (from Hoss); One Thing To Live, Smile, Choke and To All My Friends (from DP).
