Oh joy, so since we're so opinionated here, allow me to share some of mine.
I wouldn't really categorize myself as electronic pop, considering I've only got one song you could call that genre. I try to make my songs not all sound the same, because that is extremely lame, and that gets really boring really quickly. Unfortunately a lot of bands Cough*epeciallyelectronipop*cough tend to play the role of the band where all their songs sound the same. Now I'm no scientist, but considering I have 2 songs on my page(where you can hear the obvious difference between the two) It wouldn't be smart to pass judgement as to what genre you could honestly classify the band as based off of hearing 2 songs now would it. You could give a good guess, but c'mon, maybe you should wait until i have some more songs up before you judge me.
And I'm sorry you don't like never shout never, It's your choice. I happen to enjoy his music a lot and I think that fans of his music might like mine because it is similar. I am not trying to be him whatsoever. I like the way I am, and i don't really feel like trying to be someone else.
Oh yea and about my multiple threads. I am kinda new to this and I wasn't aware that you couldn't do that, so I apologize. I honestly never thought of getting you name out to as many people as possible as shameless promotion though. I play music, and i want people to hear it, so I'm going to get it out to whoever feels like listening. I take pride in my music, and there's no shame in letting people hear it.
My music is extremely personal to me, and I feel that a lot of people could relate to my experiences. If you don't like it, then so be it, everyone has a right to have their own opinion. I would love to know what your take on GOOD music is though. If I had a nickel for every time told me that something I listen to isn't REAL or GOOD music, I'd be loaded. Music is supposed to be something personal, and if you don't like something, then you shouldn't listen to it, but you saying that we should talk about GOOD music is basically you saying we should talk about the music that only you like. This is a discussion site, and you don't really run the show, so if I were you I'd either let people speak their minds or find another site to talk about your idea of GOOD music.
And so I look and sound like every scene kid you know. If you actually knew me, I'm sure your opinion of me being scene would change dramatically. I like the way I look and the way I sound, and if you have a problem with it, you should think about keeping it to yourself. Nobody likes a Debbie Downer or a Negative Nancy :-P

Here's an idea for you, don't self promote in the music forums. There's a place for self promotion, and this ain't it

or just don't self-promote anything on this site by comparing it to Nevershoutnever, haha. because you will lose more fans than you'll gain.
