I may not get one after all.

"Neither are gamers likely to see Goldeneye 007, unless both Rare and new license holder EA commit it to Nintendo's platform. "

ugh, I just died a little bit inside

yeah, i saw this yesterday. It's a shame there'll be no goldeneye, banjo, or jet force gemini. Oh well, not a deciding factor in my purchase... still plenty of great 64 games, as well as SNES, NES, genesis, etc.

at least we'll still get Super Mario Kart & Mario Kart 64

it's a shame we won't get Goldeneye, though.... I was really looking forward to that.

To play jet force gemeni would be worth the system alone, that's really a shame. I hate to be a supporter of microsoft sometimes.

That's not a big deal to me. I have roms of all of those games anyway.

This is disappointing but I already have all of these games for 64 anyways so it doesn't affect my purchase.

It's a huge kick in the nuts considering this link (http://www.rareware.com/games/timeline/all_timeline.html).

There are tons of gems across all Nintendo platforms.

KEN GRIFFEY JR’S WINNING RUN

That's the most disappointing loss right there.

Did I miss something, is that what their final name of it is? The "Virtual Console?" Or has that been a tag the whole time, as well as Revolution?

Virtual Console is what they're calling the dashboard. It's basically the start-up screens and the menus within -- more specifically a screen where you can access the download service, the game loaded in your revolution, the system settings, etc etc.

The console is codenamed Revolution as it is not determined if that will be the final name yet. The Virtual Console refers to the fact that it will be able to download games from all other major Nintendo consoles.

If you own every good game on that list I posted, I commend thee.

While it won't break the system, it is still kind of a drag.

Haha no, but as in the other games like golden eye perfect dark, you know. I mean there will still be a ton of games. It's really a very minor burn.
