A close friend of mine is turning 18 in a few weeks and going to college. As part of her birthday/going away present, I wanted to make her a CD of songs about being young and growing up. So far I have:
Cavanaugh Park - Something Corporate
Here's to the Night - Eve 6
We All Roll Along - The Maine (I'd really like to avoid putting this one on there if I can).
I'm trying to put together a list of around 9 solid songs. I need help.

So Long Astoria - The Ataris
Once When I Was Little - James Morrison
Shadows and Regrets - Yellowcard
and I suggest putting We All Roll Along.

I'm going to third Dammit.
Also, I always cry a little when I hear All The Small Things, because for me, it reminds me of youthfulness. I don't know why, it might just be me.
Also, Brothers On A Hotel Bed by Death Cab For Cutie.
