Have you heard the full orchestra version (http://www.myspace.com/coheedandcambriathestringquartettri bute) of Coheed & Cambria (http://www.absolutepunk.net/coheedandcambria)'s In Keeping Secrets... yet? I don't remember if we posted this (http://www.myspace.com/coheedandcambriathestringquartettri bute) before.

These exist for like 50 bands.. pretty interesting. I have yet to get my hands on the AFI one, yet. I saw it for sale in Times Square for $30.. fuck that.

my sisters bestfriend designed that cover and all the packaging for it.

She asked my opinion on it a couple months back, it was funny hearing what her boss wanted it to look like.

im supposed to get a free copy of it one of these days.

and the company that puts these out does it for pretty much every band, the gwen stepfani one is hilarious.

fucking fantastic.

and, in keeping with tradition of the classic overwrought prog-band, coheed now needs to perform with a full orchestra.

how insane would a moneen tribute be. Whew, i dont know if they could handle it.

I bet this is really good.

EDIT: There's a link in there. I like this a lot. Haha. It reminds me of music that would be in a Zelda video game for some reason.

Listen to the first song on In Keeping Secrets and Good Apollo. They sound like they belong in Hyrule.

That's not a full orchestra, it's a quartet, only 4 people. It sounds awesome though.

you liked the Mars Volta string tribute? Then you might enjoy this
I think all Mars Volta fans should check this out

someone remixed the string quartet tribute with the original Deloused album.... I think its fucking amazing personally, well... basically it just sounds like them playing with an orchestra

i hate it when people write shit like this. we don't care about some strange connection you may have with the cover of this album. we don't think you are cool because of it. "i had dinner with that band once after a show, then they all came over to my house for milk and cookies." i hate that kind of stuff. sorry, just venting.
