Hi everyone, just curious if anyone here is a fan of lacrosse. Personally, I am. I wouldn't know about it if I didn't live in Toronto.
If your a fan, who's your favourite team and player(s)??

I was planning to play on my school's team but I missed the deadline for physicals so I couldn't play. I probably could have tried to get on but it wasn't worth it really, they have practice all the time. It's a great sport, very fun to watch and play.

It is, yes. I've been thinking about joining a rookie league in my area. It sure is going to cost a lot though.
Anyway, I guess I'll start by listing my favourite teams. I enjoy watching the Philadelphia Wings, Portland Lumberjax and Toronto Rock play.
My favourite players would have to be Sean Greenhaulgh (PHI), Brodie Merrill (PORT), Aaron Wilson (TOR) and Blaine Manning (TOR).

I haven't seen much NLL..ESPN shows alot of MLL so I watch that. Mikey Powell is nuts, great moves.

Buffalo Bandits.
John Tavares is the Man. I used to like the Kilgour brothers (Darris is now the coach, while Rich is still a Bandit).
I think Delby Powless, Mark Steenhuis, and Billy Dee Smith are going to be our best players for years to come.

I went to a pro lacrosse game once to see the NJ pride, i really wish it was more popular. The tickets were expensive and, like, no one was there so it kinda sucked but i usually find someone around me to play with me. i love the sport, personally.

the tickets are pretty cheap in Toronto. I mean, for Platinum seats, its less than $70.
And, don't knock the game. Its pretty interesting to watch.

depends on what part of the country you live in, i live in the philly/maryland section where everyone quits baseball to play lacrosse and the wings average 10,000 a game

i live in Canada..so, the ticket price is actually pretty cheap, I think.
And, Philly is a big lacrosse city. From what I can see.

we HOST it on the 13th. It'll be on ESPN2 at 6:00.
Me? I'll be at work, listening to the Sabres Game 5 on the radio. But if I was at home, I'd be switching between the Bandits and Sabres.
never got into lacrosse, seems ok to play, but i get bored watching it, they set up around the goal and then pass it for like ten minutes, haha, but i guess indoor is better.
anyway, somebody told me that the official sport of canada is actually lacrosse, can any canadiens back this up? everyone always thinks hockey with canada but i heard they are awesome at lacrosse up there

That makes me happy cause I was told I was getting tickets and now I'm not, and oh, the Sabres won't be playing Saturday as the series will alreayd be over. I kid.
