A few interesting things:
1. His committee (TO, him and Steve Smith) decided they will work within the NFL rules on celebration...
2. He is doing the checklist again... (D'Angelo Hall?)
3. If Carson Palmer hadn't gotten hurt..."I'd have a ring on my hand right now"
4. He'd like to see Bill Clinton as the NFL commissioner.
Any thoughts

I agree
and the checklist was every CB he faced, and when he beat them he would put an X next to their name...he wanted to face D'Angelo Hall on Monday Night Football
He didn't give a good reason for Clinton really, but I think it would be interesting to see

Oh okay, I was wondering what the checklist was.
Yeah, there's no way he's going to listen to the NFL's rules. He's gotta be kidding.

clinton actually has 40-1 odds in Vegas at being the next commish. He's not a favorite ...but he's a darkhorse. Why? I really don't know.

he won't. i doubt any of them will. it's not just a fine, it'd be a 15 yard penalty. parcells, lewis or fox won't put up with that shit.
and they can still dance, just no props. it's not like all their freedom was taken away. just no props or getting on the ground.

Yeah, but think of the best ones...TO's pom-poms, the cell phone, sharpies, the pylon as a putter...those were all excellent.
If they start learning some improv techniques, it could be hilarious...I want one of them to mime, but I think it's not going to be as exciting

people complain about the props. honestly this rule is ridiculous. It's a game. it's entertainment. so let them entertain me after they score for christ's sake.
and dan lebatard said it right "old white guys making rules for young black guys"..

These old white guys are also paying them millions of dollars to play a stupid game. They can make a lot of rules if they feel it helps the league.

i love chad a ton. the only thing he'll do better than catch td's, is after he retires and goes to ESPN as an analyst.

because the league isn't a BILLION dollar sport in spite of these "outrageous" celebrations. They can make all the most ridiculous rules they want; it doesn't change the fact that it's entertainment, they shouldn't be paid as much as they are paid anyways, and they should chill the fuck out. Putting the football with the pylon isn't the demise of the entire league. The NHL would have killed for over the top celebrations if it meant their league would out rate darts and bowling on tv.
I would love to see a team get together and do the riverdance thing they did in baseketball.
That would have to piss these dudes off... it's a dance, so it's legal, but it's absolutely absurd.

he can afford to break the rules, do it.

yeah, but it's a 15 yard unsportsmanlike penalty...that's why he wouldn't
Chad doesn't seem to be one of those "I;m bigger than the team" people, he knows he's the spotlight, but I don't think he'd keep getting penalties just to entertain

but it's not legal. individual dances are legal. group dances haven't been for a while.

exactly, plus he shouldn't be showboating anyway, he should be going over and celebrating with carson palmer who threw him a perfect pass.
Also, the comment about carson getting hurt is extremely wrong, they would not have made it past the colts or pittsburgh with or without carson.

Oh, so if he catches a ball in the endzone that's a terrible pass by palmer, or if he catches one over the middle that palmer led him too far on and the result is johnson getting crushed and hanging on to the ball, he's not allowed to celebrate? Is Carson Palmer the only allowed to celebrate because he threw the ball? regardless of who catches it? Can the Offensive Coordinator celebrate for calling the play, or is it just strictly carson palmer that can showboat? Bottom line it's entertainment, let them fucking entertain for christs sake.
