This show was INCREDIBLE! He had his laptop on stage with him so he could read people's requests that they emailed in and he wasn't gonna stop until he played every damn one. He played for about 2 hours and 15 minutes. He played so many songs, including some really awesome covers. He told a pretty funny story about not being able to get coffee backstage at Lollapalooza because this whole section was blocked off while Maynard from Tool moved to the stage. It was an incredible night, even he said i felt like playing in someone's basement. My friend and I talked to him after the show and it felt like we'd known him forever. He's the nicest guy ever.

Anyways, here's the set list. I got this from setlist.fm so don't blame me if it's wrong.

That would've been so amazing to go to. I would've loved this. Dammit for moving from Ohio before he played.

I loved this show. It was the second time I've seen him at Musica and both were fantastic. This one was something else though.

I'm not a Kev Dev uber-fan, but holy shit.
This is a set and a half. How was the between-song banter?

I thought the banter was great. Kevin was in a really good mood and told several stories and was pretty chatty. Even tried to hook up "my friend moved to Texas" with "I just started at Home Depot".

Oh lord I love this man.
His solo shows are infinitely better then when he has a band, but I love the album recordings with the band; it's a great balance.
And as for that guy who was contemplating going on his own, I went to see him on my own and it was one of the most amazing, intense gigs I've ever been to. The room was small enough that he could step away from the mic and sing loudly enough so that everyone could still hear, which he used to great effect. Despite the songs being very intense, the banter was great even though he was alone and he had the crowd laughing out loud a lot which made for a very enjoyable and intimate atmosphere.
Overall it was one of the best sets I've ever seen.

Any video/audio of The Smiths cover? That has to be one of my all time favorite songs and I didn't even know Kevin was really a fan.

I am still in shock he played for 140 minutes. It was simply wonderful and worth every penny and more. Easily one of the top shows of 2009 for me.
