Does anyone remember The Real Ghostbusters? It used to be my favorite cartoon, and then it completely slipped off of my radar. A few weeks ago I found out that it's been released for the first time on DVD! Season 1 just came out and I picked it up the other day.
It's awesome! The episodes all have introductions by random cast/crew from the show, which gives a bit of a behind the scenes info about the show. There are also some commentaries, a "making of"documentary, and a lot of other cool stuff.
Can't wait till volume 2!
what a strange first post. atleast it wasnt about paramore... and you arent from brazil.

Actually the complete series has been available on DVD from Time Life for awhile. Soon it will be on Amazon. The packaging looks amazing. Search it for yourself.

not a bad way to spend a night. this shit was my all time favorite cartoon and movie franchise as a kid, and i'm still a big fan. i was gonna order that time life dvd set when it first came out but i never got around to it. i'm hoping the price will get lowered, last time i checked i think it was like $150...the show was a classic and i def need to buy this at some point.

At least I'm not the only one! Haha. I was a Ghost Busters fanatic as a kid, and since then all I've done is watch (and re-watch, and re-watch) the movies. But I found out about that full DVD set a few days back and have been trying to find it at a local store since. Finally found it today, and while it was a bit more expensive than I'd like to admit ($150, eeps) I'm pretty stoked to re-live my childhood in a (hopefully unironic manner--hope it holds up).
However, "Ghostbusters 3" makes me nervous. Really nervous. Shit better not suck.
