Thursday's (http://www.absolutepunk.net/thursday) album, A City By The Light Divided, will be released in the UK through Hassle Records (http://www.hasslerecords.com/) on May 1st (http://www.absolutepunk.net/calendar.php?do=getinfo&e=566&day=2006-5-1). The band's UK dates that begin in May are listed below.
26th May - Oxford Zodiac
27th May - Leeds Slam Dunk Festival
28th May - Manchester Academy 2
29th May - Glasgow Garage
30th May - Birmingham Academy 2
31st May - Portsmouth Wedgwood Rooms
1st June - London Electric Ballroom

That Electric Ballroom show should be brilliant, I can't wait. On their day Thursday might be the best live band in the scene in terms of power and impact, and at such a nice little venue, with the songs we've heard from the album sounding so good... "The Other Side Of The Crash" could destroy the place...

I certainly don't think Minus The Bear are supporting in the UK. I don't think it'll be anyone big - they are playing small venues, so it's not like they need a big-name support band to pull people in!

Whaaat why? They're on a major, and like Hassle/Vagrant/Sore Point areeen't. This is odd.

mtb and mewithoutyou are hardly big though. not a fan of either band so i wouldn't be bothered if it wasn't them.

it was going to be The Fall Of Troy but due to the band;s dates with he is legend, they couldnt go through.
