I'm really digging it now. It reminds me of TTTYG, but it has better instrument work in my opinion. I don't like it as an overall product better than TTTYG, but Hit the Lights have a really good pop-punk formula to work from. They're going to hit it big.

After having tihs album for over a month and a half, I still rock it daily. I've been waiting for a CD like this for a long, long time.
Also, the band is incredible live... my friend liked em, but after seeing them, he now loves them... I dunno, if you can't make up your mind or don't like these songs, go see them and then decide.
I <3 HTL

i seriously love this album. some solid pop-punk is coming back which makes me smile.
speakers blown is by far one of the catchiest songs and make a run for it is equally as amazing.

Amazing group of guys; great album -- I was just rocking it really loud with the windows down driving into the office.

ever since i got the album it's been in my steady list of cds that i rock daily,
it's a feat to make it into it and it got entered almost on first listen.
i'm glad to see i'm not the only one who's been waiting for something like this for a long time.

haha, you've been forgiven, although i mean not everyone is as ridiculously amazing as we are.
the show was steller, i mean it's the spill canvas you wouldn't expect anything less.
straylight seems to just put this trance over the crowd like no other, it's amazing.
it's still wierd to see nick on a huge stage and having people fawn over him and the rest of the band,
but i better get use to it because they deserve nothing less.
hopefully we'll be seeing you at another show soon, going to tsl/cartel in towson on the 18th?

Yeah, it's weird seeing Nick / The Spill Canvas fanbase from nothing to what it is now and still see it keep growing. Those guys totally deserve it, though; more than happy for 'em.
I'll try and make it to the TSL show on the 18th; I already saw it in DC, but I'd love to go again.

ehhh i like it but i think the ep version of "until we get caught" is better. i don't know why. i mean i can really tell some vocal and instrumental changes but that's just my opnion. i'm still excited for the cd to come out (PRE-ORDER BABY!!!)

It is a pop-punk gem IMO.
Reminds me a lot of Starting Line's "Say it Like You Mean it". Don't know if anyone else heard a bit of that.

The hidden track is really good. Either 100 times or Talk Us Down are my favorites. I'll definately be picking this cd up.

which begs the question..
why didn't larger than life (does anyone even remember them? way before all this fall out boy shite) get some sort of backing to put out a full length? or even now, finding westerly, i like the records they've made with no backing of any label more than HTL.. they were far better at pop punk than these guys.
