Aloha (http://www.myspace.com/aloha), the most critically-acclaimed band in Polyvinyl's history, returns April 11th with Some Echoes, their fourth full-length and finest moment to date. Aloha loves a little bit of everything (60s orchestral pop, prog rock, 20th century composers, iconic songwriters), but they don't dabble here and there, they meld it all to make their own noise, a singular and unmistakable one. This is one album not to be missed. Hear for yourself what everyone has been raving about, you will not be disappointed.

go, seriously their live show is awesome.

and not awesome in the gay 'we scream and jump around and swing out guitars' kind of way, but in the 'we're actually really talented musicians and TJ rules at mellotron and xylophone' type of way.

hey all first time poster long time admirer. anyways, i work over at polyvinyl and have had the joy of listening to this album for a few months before its release. maybe its just the fact that its fresh aloha but i might say its my favorite aloha release ever. if you havent checked it out yet make sure you do! theres nothing like a nice spring drive with aloha setting the mood!

If AP hadn't been hyping the shit out of Morrissey and the Smiths lately, I would say this is the best band I've ever seen them post about. I love love love love love love this band. They are FAR too underrated. I can't wait for this album, I love everything they have done so far.
