He should just say he's coming back already, the stage is set. I honestly don't think anybody in Green Bay, or even Brett Favre, would be content with last year being Favres last year.

I agree, I think he will come back.

Definetely, I mean, last year just didn't feel like his last. If he comes into this season, saying he's done next year, then everybody will go out and want to see Favre play for the last time, even if he struggles like he did last year.

His quote is the best though, "What are they going to do, cut me?". hahaha.

i hope he comes back and goes out with the type of season he is more accustomed to having. the guy is a real class act and an amazing player to boot. the NFL would be lucky to have more players like Favre.

i really hope there's something we dont know and they do. i just dont get how the organization can be happy with this if he genuinely isnt sure yet.

well said. his heart is what makes him so appealing. even though I'm not a packer fan I find myself rooting for them just because he deserves to win every game soley on his effort level. players in every sport should take notes...

He says every season is his last...he wants to go out on a championship, but I don't see the Packers doing that

his deadline for a decision got moved again. it's no longer saturday, but now it's april 15.

i think he's too classy of a guy to keep the team in limbo for this long and not come back.

farewell tour 2006. could be fun.

I'd like to see them just make the playoffs.

Same here, but with the NFC East being as good as it is, it's gonna be tough for a lot of teams to get into the playoffs.

the nfc north sucks. if they don't get killed by injuries again the packers have a real good chance to win that division and make the playoffs.

I don't know, but i'd really like for him to make a decision. this limbo that he leaves the team in every year is played out. I understand he's one of the greatest QB's of all time and the face of the franchise, but I think it's time to step aside, personally. but it would be nice to see him do well this year when/if he comes back. but still, the packers aren't going anywhere grand this season anyways.

First of all fuck the Packers, that's all, that's the end of it.
Second, I'll give that Favre is a respectable, first-class athlete, but the man needs to retire. The Packers are rebuilding, it makes sense. And yes, the NFC North does suck, but it still takes defense to win the 8-9 games, something that the Packers really don't have.
