HOB? When they said small they didn't really mean it. What happened to playing in SubT?

I think it's "small" in terms of theates, not a 500-capacity club.
Hammerstein Ballroom is a fucking big place.

Well, it's this or the AP Tour and because of some complicated circumstances regarding the day the AP Tour comes to Minnesota... I'll probably have to go Paramore. And yeah, this is not a small venue tour. The Myth is one of the bigger venues in Minneapolis/St. Paul.

Same thing is happening in Denver. The AP Tour is the same day, and I already have tickets to that. I love TAI, but I've already seen them 7 times so I want to see Paramore instead. Hope I will be able to sell those tickets though.

'small venues' probably indicates small compared to the venues that they're capable of selling out nowadays. the electric factory probably holds about 3000 people max, so i see how 'small' is misleading. glad the swellers are getting some exposure though

The NYC venue they're playing is only slightly smaller (I think it holds around 4400 people) than the venue they last played on their "Final Riot Tour". Keep in mind that show (at Central Park, capacity 5000) didn't sell out til day of, so it's kinda funny how this is the "Small venue" tour.

I almost shat my pants when I saw the $12 service fee. That's like 45 fucking percent of the original ticket price. I'd gladly pay $40 a tix for this concert, but it's just a swift kick in the balls when you know half the ticket price is going to these fucking sharks at Live Nation.
They just expect everyone to give them their money cause they have to see 'lil Hayley Williams run around on stage.
Fuck off, Live Nation.
Despite all that, I'm still gonna go see 'lil Hayley Williams run around on stage.
Damn you to hell, Live Nation. Not only do you now own my $12, but you own my dignity as well.
It came to $75 total this morning for 2 tickets. The radio station has been promoting it like crazy, and insisting it will sell out. Ignorance has practically been on repeat for the past few days.

set list for paramore ??????
Jonathan Bautts
09/30/09, 01:10 AM
Intro (mostly instrumental, brand new eyes b-side perhaps?)
Ignorance
I Caught Myself
That's What You Get
Emergency
Looking Up
Turn It Off
Conspiracy
Crushcrushcrush
Where The Lines Overlap
Decode
Misery Business
Outro
After Decode, the band went offstage for several minutes before the four guys reemerged sans Hayley, saying she threw out her voice due to her being sick and couldn't continue. The four then played Misery Business, asking the crowd to sing extra loud for Hayley because she felt like she let everyone down, followed by a cool outro thing with two drums, and then that was it. All things considered it was still a solid performance, though Hayley didn't attempt many high notes and seemed to lose some energy towards the end. I'm not sure if this means any dates will be postponed/canceled.
Also Paper Route owns live.

Dude, they had to cut the set short because Hayley couldn't sing anymore. There's a very good chance Pressure was on the original list.

hahah yeah i mostly care about paramore but the swellers said they wanna do some acoustic jimmy eat world and new found glory before shows hah so i wanna know if they did .. thatd be pretty sweet to hang out with them for a while.
About the setlist and set times and everything...they've only played one show on this tour so far. And that one show was only a partial show. They only played 11 songs. Tomorrow, if the show goes on as planned, then we will know what's going on. So they could still be playing Let the Flames Begin, My Heart, etc.

much better than that god awful no doubt support set
If this is the official 'Brand New Eyes' Tour, then im even disappointed in the set, but i think this is just their fall tour. Im sure they will have an even larger tour in the spring dedicated to BNE, like the final riot tour. If thats the case, then for the set i would like to see all of Brand New Eyes, and then for an encore:
Emergency

Well, I caved in and bought tickets to Atlanta.
I originally was gonna go to the Nashville show, but even the fanclub pre-sale were mainly balcony seats, so I just said screw it because I wanted good seats. So I completely put it out of my head until yesterday when my girlfriend mentioned that the other shows were probably GA...and lo and behold, Atlanta still had tickets.
Unfortunately, I'm gonna have to make the 5 hour drive from here to Covington then the 7 hour drive from Covington to Atlanta, then the 5 hour drive back home...but hell, Say Anything one night and Paramore the next night...can't get much better.
Hayley said on Twitter the show tonight was insane. Excited to hear about it now that the tour is officially underway again.

Yea. A lot of people wanted Emergency since they didn't play it last tour w/ No Doubt. So I think they replaced Pressure w/ emergency.

ONLY THREEE!!!!!!! RIOT! SONGS! and its the singles? what the flying fuck is going on here. Maybe I should not have picked the "album" specific tour...and this is such horse shit, for all my favorite bands who i've seen a billion times, they always only play old stuff and it makes me mad. The one band i actually want to here there older hits/material, they dont.
Three Riot

Umm. Not really. They toured forever on Riot! and played the hell out of those songs. Don't blame them for wanting to play more new material. And frankly as a pretty big Paramore fan I'm glad they are playing a lot of new stuff. I want to hear that live.

haha yes, but you can see my dismay when I say this is my first paramore show....perhaps it's my fault for not seeing them sooner, but i thought this low-key tour would be a great intimate setting to see them....but the set is pretty short too if i say so myself

It's still going to be a great show. I don't see why you don't want to go. Do you not like the new album that much? And that setlist isn't short at all. That's about average. I'm even surprised it's that long considering how her voice has been.

14 songs? idk, for a headlining show i would expect a lot more....especially since they have so much material to work with now.
I have no problem with the new album, and i completely understand why fans who have seen them once or twice all ready would be totally into this kind of tour...im just venting because there are like 5 songs that I really like off RIOT that arent going to be played. They're not playing one non-single from riot..and TWO!!! Twilight songs, and 7 newbies.

I've never been to the House Of Blues before. I know their website says no cameras, but does anyone know if it's easy to sneak them in there? The Tsongas Arena doesn't allow cameras either but I've always been able to get mine in, but I know some venues are stricter than others.

The venue is pretty strict about it, to be honest. I've been there around six times this year, and they can be pretty tough. First time I went, they pat you down, searched bags/coats, and if they found it you had to check it at coatcheck, and if they saw you trying to take pictures during the show they flashed their flashlights directly at the camera so the pics wouldn't come out. People definitely sneak them, but I personally don't risk having to get rid of it.

where have you been for the past two years? they've played every RIOT! song to death with the exception of miracle and we are broken. ha im just disgruntled.....because i kept putting off seeing paramore. My favorite songs are pessmist, fences, born for this. And ive never seen paramore, so when i see a set list that doesn't include any of my favorite paramore tracks....i guess a little bleh. It's okay, ill see them sometime. I just went to yesterday's show and Paramore had the same setlist as previously stated.
You could hear Hayley's voice kind of screw up every once in a while during her set. She definitely needs to be put on vocal rest throughout this entire tour whenever shes off stage.
She still sounds amazing though and i'm surprised that she's still able to project her voice so well after not spending that much time recovering from losing her voice.

i saw them last night. not 2 many people knew who they were(unlike myself and about 30 of us in the front going nuts) but by the end of the set the crowd seemed to like them. i got to meet them after the show and there merch table was pretty packed and they signed a lot of autographs/sold some cds so i think they had a large amount of fans by the end of the night.

Good to hear.
Here Paramore's two prior US headline tour setlists (http://intunemusiconline.com/category/bands/paramore/), so you can see what they did previously. It looks like they're playing three or four more songs this time around.

Last night was definitely a good show. Got there just as the Swellers were finishing up their set, and we got pretty close to the right side of the stage. Set was the same, of course. Hayley sounded great for just being incredibly ill. You never would've known that. She honestly sounded the best on Decode, in my opinion.
During one of Paper Route's songs Zac came out and was right next to me, thought that was pretty cool, hahaha. Didn't get the chance to talk to him though.

the norfolk show was absolutely amazing tonight!!! hayley sounded amazing, especially during misguided ghosts. the only thing that would have made it a little better would have been let the flames begin with both the intro and outro :/ other than that, a perfect show!!
paper route was amazing too. tiger teeth was so great live! and i love all of the different instruments they work into their stage show.
the swellers were also pretty good and a great opener band. they got the crowd pumped a lot!

Also, as much as I enjoyed Paramore, I thought the order of the songs in their set wasn't very good. Am I the only one who thought Brick By Boring Brick wasn't really that great of a closing song...?

I didn't think it would be a good closer, I thought they should have stuck with Misery Business but after seeing the video with the "ba da ba ba ba da ba ba's" I think it works well. Although it's not to say it's an unusual setlist. Opening with an unheard song that's almost 3 minutes long, then Ignorance, and then I Caught Myself? Definitely a bold opening combo.

Yeah I was on the main floor. I hated this group of 14 year-old looking girls that kept complaining about the pushing. I mean c'mon, if you don't want to get pushed, don't go in the crowd.
The crowd at my show was actually pretty manageable. Usually shows at the Fillmore in Denver are horrible because of the crowd. It's always ridiculously hot and because of that the crowd just gets overly aggressive and moody. But the crowd at this Paramore show seemed to be pretty friendly and genuinely into the show. The crowd was rocking to every song, even songs like I Caught Myself and Conspiracy which few people knew.
The last show I saw at the Fillmore was Fall Out Boy for both nights they played in April. The crowds both nights were just horrible - rude people who didn't even get into the show at all.
