Mono (http://www.age.fm/~sound/mono/e_f_sound.html) - Post-blah blah blah... for fans of Mogwai, Explosions in the Sky, etc. They're from Japan!
I Am the Pilot (http://www.myspace.com/iamthepilot) - Sweet new band on Silent Movie Records... check out their new video on MySpace (http://www.myspace.com/iamthepilot). If you like Acceptance, give these guys a go.
Josh Moore (http://www.myspace.com/morethanadaydream) - Josh used to play in Beloved and now plays in Classic Case... this one solo song he recorded with Matt Goldman is something special. It's more laid back... kinda alt-country ish. But smooth. Very smooth.
Hit the Lights (http://www.absolutepunk.net/hitthelights) - What can I say? I listen to this CD every day, multiple times... and it still isn't getting old after nearly a month. Brings back the glory days of pop punk... kind of a mix between New Found Glory, Fall Out Boy, Midtown, The Movielife, and so forth.
Here are Martin from Boys Like Girls (http://www.myspace.com/boyslikegirls)' recommendations:

I’m representing Boston’s best on this one. Look out Chicago, we’re next.
Therefore I Am (http://www.myspace.com/thereforeiam) – Honestly one of the best live bands I've ever seen. Great fucking guys too. Be sure to check out the live video for “I Get Nervous In Cars.”
Gone Baby Gone (http://www.myspace.com/gonebabygone) – Some of our best friends from back home. Perfectly crafted pop-punk. A 15-year old’s dream.
The Cadence (http://www.myspace.com/thecadence) – After cutting an impressive demo last year with Matt Squire they split with their drummer, but look for them to be back in action soon. Give them a listen and get ready for whats to come.
Ericson (http://www.myspace.com/ericson) – Already getting a lot of attention for their EP “Resting On Right Now,” Ericson’s slick pop-rock is sure to blow up within minutes.
Astrea (http://www.purevolume.com/astrea) – Very humble dudes and amazing musicians. Vocally reminiscent of Anthony Green.
Signal The Escape (http://www.myspace.com/signaltheescape) – Right over the stateline in CT. The next Story Of The Year.
The Consequence (http://www.myspace.com/theconsequence) - Ok, I’ll make an exception for these Jersey dudes. Brilliant pop sensibility and tasteful use of electronics will make you wanna dance.
