Hopefully they don't ruin it. I think the "Be My Guest" musical might be pretty cool if they do it right

Yeah, half the time it doesn't even mean 3D so much as "Hey, capitalize on a great movie by "remastering it" and putting it on a giant fucking IMAX screen. And then charge you $17 to see it."

I dunno. I loved this movie as a kid, but they had much better choices for a 3D adaptation. Like, Aladdin.

Even with recent movies like Up, I have opted for the regular version instead of 3D, I mean it's cool and all, but not worth the extra price

i can't wait to see the "be my guest" scene and the ballroom scene. it's going to look great. i'm mostly just excited to see this movie in the theaters again (3D or not, i would still be stoked)

'the only full-length animated feature film to ever be nominated for an Academy Award for Best Picture'

Did not know that.
When I first read the thread title I thought it was going to be a complete 3D remake, but this is better. I'll see what kind of reviews it gets. If they don't completely overdo the 3D it might just be nice to make a visit to see it on the big screen again.

I would be more excited about this if 3-D movies weren't so damn expensive. I'll probably be saving my money on this one.

The whole digital 3D thing is awesome. I saw G-Force the other day (don't ask) and I was surprised at even just the picture quality.

3D movies are such a cheap gimmick. Having said that, I will sheepishly watch this when it comes out.

I'm sure I'll check this out when they release it.

As far as 3D goes, I've only seen Up in 3D since the whole craze started again but it was done quite well and I was pretty impressed with it. I kept my glasses though so if I'm strapped for cash when a 3D movie comes out from now on I might just buy a ticket to a show starting at a similar time and just sneak into the other theater because they charge way to much for those glasses.

Considering they've been mainly doing to their super huge mega-blockbusters, I'd say don't hold your breath.

I would be more excited about this if 3-D movies weren't so damn expensive. I'll probably be saving my money on this one.

Not if you have a girlfriend on Valentine's Day if this is in the theaters. It's your duty to take her to it. Your Duty.

Disney can keep re-releasing their movies in 3D, I will see them every time. I always forget how good the movies are until I watch them again.

Looking forward to Finding Nemo being the next 3D re-release....although I am hoping they do Pocahontas sometime soon.

Wife saw it yesterday, said she loved it...But she/we're both extremely Disney biased, having both worked at the Disney parks before (me, DLR, her WDW).

it's definitely worth seeing in theaters but the 3D isn't supposed to add much. I saw it it 2D though.

Really dug seeing this in theaters. The animation face lift was pretty fucking gorgeous and that the Tangled short was fucking awesome. I'm definitely seeing the Little Mermaid re-release but not all the Pixar bullshit. I fucking can't stand most of those boring movies.
