I am aware. But since the Harry Potter Series is more popular than the Lord of the Rings series, it seems to me that that is why Dumbledore has so many more votes. He's up by 2 to 1, even though they are practically the same character in two separate series'.

This. I mean, you could conceivably make the argument he's not even completely mortal.

Gandalf and Dumbledore are a wash in terms of spells, IMO. Where's the evidence that Dumbledore is so much stronger at the whole magic thing? I don't see it. And I don't think ANYONE can legitimately argue that in physical hand-to-hand combat, Gandalf would carve up Dumby eighteen different ways.

If I remember the Silmarillion correctly Gandalf basically was created at the beginning of time. In theory he'd know every trick in the magic book and then some. How could Dumbledore even have a chance?
