After surfing through this site for awhile, I've found that most people here, when talking about modern music or local bands, like to post comments like "this sucks" "I want the last three minutes of my life back" "This isn't revolutionary!". Usually posting comments like there is better stuff out there. Well, I just want to say, of course there isn't any kind of revolutionary music nowadays. Of course all the music sucks! And no, I can't give you three minutes of your life back. The last tonal innovators died long long ago. Every tonal harmony has been used before. Tonality just isn't what it used to be. There is almost no way for music to be revolutionary or mind blowing like it used to be. The only way to be different nowadays is to change your timbre. And even after that you're still going to be tied down by tonality. I just wanted to make sure everyone knew this before they continue to make asses of themselves by inserting thier opinion of someone elses music. There is no such thing as "a good band" or "good music" because basically it's all the same and it has all been done before.
