The tale of a teenage girl never had a happy ending.
Never made the village people smile because something went their way.
Taking the easy root and not even noticing the care of others.
Just overlooking the important ones, because ‘me, myself and I’ that’s what they were mending.
Holding onto broken dreams, keeping tight grip of faith and belief; that this will all work out some day.
Fixing and pretending that everything in everyway is gunna be okay.
Cause you know way deep down, that nothing has ever been this bad before.
Nothing has ever been so low as to the standard it is at right now.
Looking about the world you call home, you see the people you love so much, it hurts.
Praying that one day your love for them will show in everyway possible and that they will then realise just how much they mean.
Turning your back from them means nothing but being gutless. Labelled ‘a coward’ for the rest of your days. But how can you show you love in any way?
Freaking out at the sight of a spider, or being scared of not knowing what could be leering in the dark.
My days of fear are worryingly high and my mistakes are rising by the day.
I know I’m not perfect and I know I don’t always do everything right, but knowing your stood right behind me makes it feel okay.
Because I know that when I fall, you can pick me up. And when I hit the ground so hard, I struggle to know where I fit.
But having someone in my life like you; it makes me see that I am lucky.
You’re amazing. Simple as. But you can’t define perfect…
