its a good fuckin cd...and i just take it as something completely on its own from suas. i even got my roomates to like the cd and they arent even fans of brandtson

I honestly can't even find one track so far that I think is solid... they're all so bland.

i love this band but that preview sounds awful. ill wait till the whole cd comes out

eat me. the cd isn't out yet, i might as well listen to it if i can beforehand... if a cd is good, i buy it... this one is yet to be determined.. i'd be pissed if i had spent money on this without hearing it first.

How arrogant can you get? After 1.5 listens, you made up your mind and wrote a review on it? Lordy man, any review I write, I give the album at the very least, 3 spins before even beginning to write something up on it.
If you take writing seriously, you should be fuckin ashamed. You owe every band you listen to an ernest attempt to get what they are trying to do. Had you said ...but after 5 listens.... I wouldn't be posting this.
However I would be saying to myself, "what a fuckin idiot".
This record may not be OK Computer, but it is fun man. Straight fun.

The whole cd isn't even out there, it's missing tracks (from what I was told of what leaked).

I can't wait for the day that websites like this have to turn over user information to people who admittedly discuss that they are in posession of copyrighted works illegally.

Jesus christ.. when did I say I took my writing serious, or that I even wrote a review of it... i said i replied in the review of it, to whoever wrote the review... and all I said there was that it was disappointing.
Maybe it's "straight fun" to you.. but it's straight lame to me, after attempting to listen a few more times.
I played through all my old Brandtson stuff today just to make sure they haven't always sounded like this to me, and sure enough, I still love all the old stuff.
I don't know why they went this way with their sound... i just hope they make another album more similar to their old stuff before they're done as a band. You guys that like this style can keep it, but i'll be spinning their old stuff in the meantime.
And damn.. lighten up everyone, i'm allowed to not like it.
Btw tate, the whole thing has leaked now.

thier not bland, they are just completely different from what youre used to... give it achance, it will grow on you.... the songs are a bit inconsistant, but thats just cuase they are so diverse

I like this song. Different yes, but fun.
This post is dead, but can I just say one thing? People are allowed to not like it! The guy who friggin runs this site goes out of his way to post "I third the "shut up" request". Give me a break, the guy wasn't even mean about his overall feelings on the album. It's not that the new cd lacks creativity, it just lacks heart. There's a couple gems in there, but most of it is Brandtson doing dance songs. And they don't even do them that well. To me it sounds like an experimental album, but a failed one.
Well whatever, some of the replies just rubbed me the wrong way, that's all.
