When it comes to the majority of parents, you will never win even the smallest argument. Just sit down, shut up and take it. Life becomes much easier that way.

I just never understood why kids were so afraid to do that, I mean you take your hits and you get grounded at first, but if it drills in the "you cant treat me like im 4 forever" point then it was all worth it

I don't really argue with my parents. When we do it usually starts as a discussion about something else then they randomly start yelling at me. I call them out on their bullshit, they call me out on mine, we get nowhere. Luckily for me, my parents realize that grounding doesn't work and have never grounded me before.

My mom told me I wasn't allowed out until I cleaned the bird cages, but she wasn't home so I went out anyway. She calls me 2 minutes after I leave bitching at me to come home and do it. I laughed and hung up the phone.

Suicide: a permanent solution for a temporary problem. Kill yourself, that'll show Mom who was right in that argument!
Also, maybe if you weren't doing the afforementioned 'popular drugs' suicide wouldn't seem so attractive, just a thought.

Winning arguments with my mom is easy; once I've presented my side of the argument well and with facts she understands and if I'm right she acknowledges it.
Winning with my dad is impossible. But the thing about it is, he's usually wrong but I can never find the concrete proof [whether it's a photograph or a receipt] until after the argument when he's finished being a complete asshole about how "right" he's "sure" he is.
I would say never give in to them or anyone else if they're wrong. I don't mean be disrespectful though. Argue calmly.
Well my mum is cool my dad is dead my grandma lives with use they are saportive but latly I have be in to some huge fights with my mum and so I still love them but gesh they are annoying lawl

I'm currently having huge problems with dealing with my parents. They grounded me for 6 months. I really don't know what to do now. And if they will think I still haven't learned my lesson I will be grounded for 12 months. I'm going fucking crazy. I mean, there is like only one week til school starts and I'm not allowed to go anywhere. The idiots grounded me because the train was late and instead of coming home at 3am, I came at 7:30am. They don't want to understand it wasn't my fault and they think I'm lying. Fucking idiots.
So, any advices for dealing with my parents? :D
