for me its a dead heat between 'life won't wait' and 'out come the wolves'. wolves is the classic, but life won't wait was the most ambitious and had the most variety for your buck. I'll go out on a limb and even say 'life won't wait' was their 'london calling'. yea i said it.

first off, operation ivy is one of my top 5 favorite bands ever....yes, matt freeman is one of the greatest bassists ever, but it doesn't make up for tim being a complete hack...i guess i respect rancid, i just never liked their music

its a shame rancid aren't even close
to being on par with operation ivy despite
half the band being in rancid
i think tim as main vocals is what
ruins it, his voice is a little....pretentious

i thought Tim's voice sounded rad in "Let's Go" and "Out Come The Wolves"... but anything after that just went to shit... Indestructible had some horrible vocals. its like he doesn't try anymore.

i MUCH prefer rancid 2000. i don't really like them, but that's the only cd that's pretty decent, otherwise i just think the music is pretty lame.

i always was much more of a nofx fan myself, i've never liked rancid-style punk.
