The only thing I know is that there is a Vegas date. I don't know where or when. I'll definitely be going though. And I wish everyone would stop complaining about this tour, it's getting old.

If BLG headlines every night, I'll be shocked.

I think the fact that the official tour poster says 'Boys Like Girls with special guests...' makes it very obvious that theyll be headlining every night. It was said quite a while ago that BLG would be doing a headlining tour with cs and the maine, anyways

for all the people talking about BLG headlining every night, 10/31 is an ATL headliner date, which means BLG is either co-headlining, or opening last.

Yeah probably. I said that more in jest. I might even be at the NYC date depending on what I have going on that night (is it bad that, as I get older, I get happy when shows are on weekdays?)

Haha, even if you live on NYC, chances are, you're going to want to go out with friends, spend time with your girlfriend/boyfriend during the weekends as opposed to standing around with a bunch of 17-year-olds wearing bright colors. On weekdays, however, it seems more bearable for some odd reason.

Firstly- Gotcha. Didn't think of that. But then again the venue had a poster for the tour on the website... Oh well, I guess we'll just see what happens!

Well, I looked on the venue's website and Taste of Chaos and several other tours went there, so I guess they do play shows! haha But I couldn't find, like, capacity information or anything like that...

For which band?
Boys Like Girls will sadly be Love Drunk centered :-|. With some from the self-titled.
I predict:
Five Minutes To Midnight
Hero/Heroine
Thunder
On Top Of The World
The Great Escape
Love Drunk
Two Is Better Than One
Contagious
Heart Heart Heartbreak
and more from love drunk.

Cobra Starship will have a similar set to their Hot Mess Across The U.S tour, and I don't really know about the others.

Wow, try getting a life - you haven't won any prizes for being an asswipe online.

Jesus.

I won't be seeing the show because there's no DC/MD date, however, I really would like to see ARTTM. Versa had its appeal whenever Anthony was in the band; he's a good friend of mine. Whereas I enjoy the music recorded, until I like more than 2 songs, seeing them live isn't as much fun. Anthony put so much of himself into it, its sad to see him gone.

I don't listen to BLG or The Maine that much anymore, but I agree with everyone on Cobra - wish they would play more from the new album. I was in Richmond for the Hot Mess Tour, and one guy said the following:

"Dude, we were waiting to hear Good Guys Finish Last and Hot Mess, that would have been awesome."

Gabe: "Nice Guys Finish Last? *pause* We haven't even learned to play those live, man."

Bummer :(

Went to this tour tonight.
It was actually a lot better than I thought it would be. I went for VersaEmerge, but stayed for most of the rest.
I think Versa played all the songs from their newest EP. They were okay, nothing special though. I don't think the crowd was very into it. I heard a lot of people say "it was okay, but they sound like they're trying to be Paramore" and "It was okay, I like whenever there's a girl in a band" and things like that. Sierra's voice wasn't as good as it was when I saw them last time.

Then came a Rocket to the Moon. They blew me away. I never really listened to them before, so I don't know their set list. They were just spot on for every single note. Really good pop band.

Then was The Maine. Kids screamed their heads off, as expected. They definitely got the most love from the crowd. I think the band was actually surprised at how loud it was as well.. They played a lot of old stuff and a song that didn't make the first album. I know a lot of people on this site don't like The Maine, but they really know how to work the crowd and actually play their instuments very well.

Last was BLG (no Cobra at my date). The lights were phenomenol but they were the only good thing about their set in my opinion. It was just boring. Their voices weren't that good and they kind of seemed like they didn't want to be there. I left halfway through but saw a lot of it on the screen outside the theatre. Sierra Kusterbeck from VE came to sing a song with them.

Probably not worth the 25 dollars if you're only going for ARTTM or VE.

I can't answer with a for sure answer, but my guess is Two Is Better Than One, because 1) T.Swift obviously isn't there, so they might as well have Sierra do her parts and 2) it's their next single, so they will definitely be playing it.

i went tonight also. i enjoyed all the bands honestly. i however was not digging being threatened by a 13 year old girl. here is the deal-i managed to get second row. she was barricade. i'm 5'9". she was 5 foot-IF that. she had all her friends around me. some next to me, some behind me. throughout the entire show they were bitching up a storm from all the pushing. they even waved security over and was trying to get him to tell everyone to back up. i was legit laughing at them. the security guy looked at them like they were nuts. i then turned to the one of them and flat out asked 'uhm.. have you ever been to a show like this before? it's just going to get worse when the band comes on.' the one in front of me gives me attitude and is all 'yeah! ive been to warped tour. i go to a good school.' i was a little confused at the school thing, but whatever. so as the pushing ensued(which btw i was trying to protect this girl in front of me at first) and she continued complaining. i gave up holding my ground. she threatened to punch me. ME. like i was causing all of this. i think she was just intimidated by my sheer height. haha. i was seriously 'what the fucking' by this point.

i dont know, i think im getting too old for this shit. when i was 13 i was in no way shape or form acting the way she was. i was flabbergasted at the things she was saying.
OH! and there were two older women in front of me too. like in their 30s and they were complaining about the pushing too. i couldnt take the shit anymore and left the crowd. if you are going to complain-get the hell out. easy as that.

i have not slept well in the last three days so my brain is not functioning as well as it should be. sorry if this is just a lame ramble. :/

WHAAAAAT?! For real? What songs? Well, I mean, if you know. That's pretty sweet seeing as their sets for the past few tours have been basically the same.
But it sounds like you had a good time :)

Stole this from the Boys Like Girls forum:

Intro
Love drunk
five minutes to midnight
Dance hall drug
She's got a boyfriend now
the shot heard round the world
hero/heroine
heart heart heartbreak
two is better than one
contagious
heels over head
thunder
someone like you
great escape
I should probably start listening to the new album... :\ Nothing really excites me about it, though. I'm glad to see several songs from S/T though! Well, I guess there wouldn't really be anything else they could play haha

they've basically got the only somewhat worthwhile songs on the set from the new album. The only difference I would make is switching the shot heard round the world for the real thing, because that songs way catchy and the shot is just a weird song for blg.

Decent set list. Would have been better if they added Chemicals Collide, Real Thing, and\or On Top Of The World.

i went tonight also. i enjoyed all the bands honestly. i however was not digging being threatened by a 13 year old girl. here is the deal-i managed to get second row. she was barricade. i'm 5'9". she was 5 foot-IF that. she had all her friends around me. some next to me, some behind me. throughout the entire show they were bitching up a storm from all the pushing. they even waved security over and was trying to get him to tell everyone to back up. i was legit laughing at them. the security guy looked at them like they were nuts. i then turned to the one of them and flat out asked 'uhm.. have you ever been to a show like this before? it's just going to get worse when the band comes on.' the one in front of me gives me attitude and is all 'yeah! ive been to warped tour. i go to a good school.' i was a little confused at the school thing, but whatever. so as the pushing ensued(which btw i was trying to protect this girl in front of me at first) and she continued complaining. i gave up holding my ground. she threatened to punch me. ME. like i was causing all of this. i think she was just intimidated by my sheer height. haha. i was seriously 'what the fucking' by this point.

i dont know, i think im getting too old for this shit. when i was 13 i was in no way shape or form acting the way she was. i was flabbergasted at the things she was saying.
OH! and there were two older women in front of me too. like in their 30s and they were complaining about the pushing too. i couldnt take the shit anymore and left the crowd. if you are going to complain-get the hell out. easy as that.

i have not slept well in the last three days so my brain is not functioning as well as it should be. sorry if this is just a lame ramble. :/

lol. I don't get those type of girls at all. Don't think they should be let out in public acting like they do.
They sound like these preschoolers that went to an Emery concert in my area.
I didn't give up my ground though.
If they had wanted to be in front they should've asked nicely and then hear you say, "Sorry but no". :)

I think it depends on what bands are playing. If you go to a show that have bands that attract people who dont normally go to shows, they'll bitch. The ATL Hometown show was awful though, It definitely attracted a lot of people who werent used to that kind of thing, so it's no suprise to me BLG was like that, even though I saw them over the summer and everyone was having fun?

The Fall Ball will more than likely be fine, because im pretty sure TAI and Mayday have never been to the point of being mainstream, so they dont really attract the kids who heard a cool song on the radio and decided to go to that band's show.

After seeing the line-up for this tour, it was kind of clear that it was going to be screaming little girls and people who aren't used to the whole pushing concept, same goes for the GK tour. It'd be better if there was a better diversity of bands on these tours to attract better crowds. I hate going to a show where everyones complaining and not having fun, it makes me question why they would pay the money for the ticket.

yeah, i think it was because of the front. i left the front after the maine and went to the back for BLG and had such a better time. if i was not where i was for most of the show i'm sure my night would have been 100x better. the little bitch ruined it for me. i suppose my front days are over. :/ except when brand new comes to town. they're an exception. :]
and i am also going to the fall ball. im sure it'll be a little better than this one. no radio play for any of the bands means less problems for the most part.

i literally had to think about what the fuck she meant by it. i still do not understand the statement.

and to the person who said something about people complaining.. i am with you on that. i mean, im not one to go batshit crazy at shows. ill move a little, and obviously sing along but im not one of the crazier dancing types. haha. lately my sister and her friend have been going to shows with me and im getting tired of their complaining. all the do is sit in the back while i am up in the crowd actually enjoying the music. i dont understand the logic. for this show, they were in the lobby for most of the show. the lobby. where you cant even see the band that is playing. they paid 35 dollars to 'hang out' when they could've done it for free at home. the people around me who would go to shows with me is now dwindling. i'm left going alone lately-which is better than having to deal with complaining idiots. fuck, at warped tour all my sisters friend was concerned about was guys. i was watching a band and she was all 'are we going to leave after the next song?' when it was only their SECOND song in. i literally wtf'd at her. never again..

I think the amount of old songs is what made the Hot Mess tour a success. and Cobra is Cobra, i can see them playing like 40 mintues for an opening spot, if gabe doesnt talk as much, he can fit in quite a bunch of songs.

oh ha, i forgot to mention i won a radio contest literally on a whim for this tour. without going into too much detail, i got a call from my ortho after i got home from work at around 7am telling me my name was called on the radio. i entered this thing pretty much thinking 'yeah right.. me win?' i never win anything. so my name was called, i wasnt listening. my ortho was. and that is how i won. :]
i ended up winning a 'secret little mini performance' which actually turned out to be watching them rehearse for the tour for about a half hour.(cause my show was the first of the tour) it was pretty gnarly not going to lie. i loved the whole technical aspect of the things going on. it was way more interesting then watching the same old radio hits being played. not to mention they told us that was their first time ever playing the new songs live. so it was pretty awesome.

Hahahaha me too :) And, while I agree with you, do you really think Gabe is going to shut up and just sing? ;-)

JSYK- I can't see anything in the merch picture.
But that's a pretty decent setlist. I'm really happy about Nice Guys Finish Last, but can we lose Smile for the Paparazzi already? Let's put CoHA in that spot. Or Send My Love... I just can't pick. But Guilty Pleasure should be last- It's like their "Saturday."
Unforturnatelly Paparazzi is a crowd pleaser, COHA, and Send My Love are more for die hard fans unfortunatelly.
And i didnt think gabe would shut up.
And im disappointed that they finish with good girls. that is pleasing the crowd, not the fans. Guilty pleasure and bring it are the cobra anthems.

Stole this from the Boys Like Girls forum:

Intro
Love drunk
five minutes to midnight
Dance hall drug
She's got a boyfriend now
the shot heard round the world
hero/heroine
heart heart heartbreak
two is better than one
contagious
heels over head
thunder
someone like you
great escape

awww c'mon WHY Is Someone Like You before Great Escape ? D: gahh that is my least fave song on the new album and i just know that it will ruin my mood and that pisses me off cuz i fell inlove with Great Escape when i heard it on the redio for the first time in 8th grade </3

Yeah, and that's what sucks. I mean, it's not that I don't enjoy hearing Paparazzi, but I've heard it on the last two tours and I could do without it. Ya know?

Holy crap. You're right. Wow, that's ridiculous. From the shows I've seen of them they've always done Kiss My Sass and now they're replacing it with tons of their new songs? I mean, I get that they released a new album in the summer but does the whole set really have to be almost fully composed of it?

Last night was my ninth time seeing Cobra, and it was awesome. They tore it up. It almost seemed as if they were headlining, the crowd was absolutely into their set and they had a lot of fans. Good Girls Go Bad was actually the perfect closer just because of how much energy everyone had. Wet Hot American Summer was the only low part of the set, because almost no one knew it (would have preferred You're Not In On The Joke if it had to be something from the new album). Nice Guys Finish Last & Hot Mess were crazy live! Almost better live than recorded. I've seen all of the other songs from the other albums so many times before and they were good as ever/

Went to the meet & greet before and the band was awesome. First time I've ever met Gabe since he was a no-show the last 3 meet & greets/signings.

Bought tickets through Artist Arena as part of the Cobra Crew presale. The first 100 people to buy tickets through the presale got an option of Early Entry or Meet & Greet. I went with M&G because that has always led to an early entry as well.

We had to meet in front of the box office. The BLG meet & greet people got to go in first. The Cobra M&G was supposed to start at 5:15 but we didn't get inside until 5:30. Last time I had a M&G with Cobra, they just let us into the front lobby of the venue near the merch stand and the band came out and mingled with everyone. However, last night they were running late and the band didn't make it in until 5:45, and doors were at 6, so they just had us line up and each group got to take a picture with the band. They told us to hold off on autographs as everyone would be at the merch stand after their set to sign. After we took our pictures, we were sent back into the lobby. We then got to go in with all of the other M&G and Early Entry people. They didn't open doors until about 5 minutes after we were all inside the venue. The Ogden is set up with a lot of different levels. The main pit is really small and the stage is really high, so we picked the next level up right on the rail for that level, because you're still only 15 feet away from the stage but closer to eye level with the band.

it depends on the venue. I've been to more than one date of tours that have EE and M&G and sometimes ee would get in first and sometimes M&G got to go to the barricade first. The BLG/GC tour i had ee one date and m&g another, and the date i had ee we got in first, the date i had m&g we went in first and the ee people were pissed but thats how it went. There's a total of 4 groups that go in before everyone: Cobra meet and greet, cobra ee, blg meet and greet and blg ee. whatever of the 4 groups get to go in first will be the one to get barricade. you'll have to hope for the best.

I'm hoping blg ee gets in first for my date

All of the M&G and EE people were let in at the same time. Based on my previous experience with Cobra M&Gs, I know that we were still let in before the general public. No offense, but I don't know why anyone would pick Early Entry over Meet & Greet since the M&G usually includes the early entry. Plus, these are small venues...you don't need Early Entry to get a good spot.

Although they did say that after the Meet & Greet we would have to go wait outside and then they would let us in again, but since the M&G was running late, they just had us wait in the lobby for a few minutes before we got to go back in.

Yeah, that's how it was on Sassyback so I assumed it would be the same for this tour, although it did confuse me that they offered both. Nonetheless, I chose M&G as most others did. There were only 5-6 EE people on the list for Denver, perhaps that's why they just combined us. Also because everything was running late it was probably too confusing to take us outside then let us back in. They scanned our tickets when we went into the venue for the M&G.

Also, the meet & greet on Sassyback was everyone in the venue lobby and the band just came in and mingled. This time, though, we lined up and each group went up to take a picture with the band. Not sure how it was on the rest of the dates, because our M&G started late. I'm really glad they got to do stuff like this, considering they're not headlining.

I'm getting onstage to rap in Snakes on a Plane... Just you watch me.

They (usually) don't do the rap anymore, they do Hollaback Boy.

They rapped all through the summer tour.
They brought someone to rap for them on the crowd, and for the Kiss my Sass rap they have a tech that raps.

I asked this before but I never got an answer. Does anyone know around what time the concert ends? Or around what time will cobras set finish? Also, has a rocket to th moon changed their setlist? I hope they play on a lonely night

Really? The last several times I've seen them they have done Hollaback Boy instead of the rap. I think at the Hot Mess Across the US show they did the rap, but on this tour, both shows I saw them on Believers Never Die, and Warped Tour last summer they did Hollaback Boy instead.

they're only allowed to do that that when it's their tour apparently. I asked to do it at the Honda Civic Tour and they said they're not allowed, so during the Really Really Ridiculously Good looking(or whatever) tour I just jumped on stage and did it ahah.

Its not that their not allowed, WTK does it, the whole bringing on stage deal, but its not very polite to try and steal the spot by bringing people on stage. gabey babey himself said they are there to support, not shine. even though they do shine with all the neon wear :p

I said that I would get on stage because, if you read the story, it says that they DID pull someone up to do it:
A Decaydance family shoutout had Kayla and I hoping for some badass guest appearance for Snakes On A Plane, but no. Instead they pulled a fan up to rap for Travie's part (and the guy did a realllllly excellent job).

At the show I went to last night, Oct. 30th. I did not see The Maine's lead singer meet any fans...maybe he did but he wasn't near the venue.
I did meet Gabe, all the members of VersaEmerge, Nick Santino of ARTTM, and Martin from BLG.

Also, whoever has said VE aren't amazing live you couldn't be anymore wrong.
Sierra kills it live. She was so on point and when she performed with Cobra on GGGB she owns Vicky T. :D

I would have honestly preferred that instead of all the 12 year old girls at the SF show who only wanted to get closer during the VE set because they thought the lead singer was hot :/ (literally was what happened).

Okay, first off, since im tired to move, lemme say how it was,

DOORS - Doors opened, merch line got FULL, basic stuff. Almost nobody payed attention to the gk merch, even though its better and cheaper than the band merchs.

THE HIT - They are local from dallas, but are very generic. They had a good set limited by their budget and lights and stuff. Two of the members were dressed as Spider-Man, and the Singer (Kade Holloway) had an Afro wig on.

VERSAEMERGE - THIS WAS BETTER THAN RICKROLL. Misery business started playing the intro, Than the band comes on playing misery business and we see a Redhead, the crowd goes NUTS. Than The VERSAEMERGE signs are revealed and Misery Business stops. I had a heart attack. Than she stops and says "I'm not hayley williams for those who don't know"
The set was the same, except that they only played 4 songs, no The Authors i believe. And they Closed with Whisperer.

FNB - They were dressed as fat people, and it was really cool. I couldn't get pics of their costumes.
I was pissed beyond belief Molly Makeout wasnt there.

The crowd loives them the best, for sure. Their set was RIDICULOUS. At various points alex sang random songs like I gotta Feeling, and a song that i cant remember that he tried to make his Tech sing.
I dont remember their setlist, but i know they played everything theyve been playing except for the Medley, Too Much, Therapy i believe.

If you bought the ticket on Ticketmaster, it was almost $40 after fees. I got mine through ATL's fanclub so it was only $33, but still not bad for as big of a venue as it is. It was just hard to meet some bands since security decided to kick everyone out.
