Do you ever listen to foreign bands with lyrics you can't understand?

ALL the time. Lyrics are becoming more and more irrelevant to me, but I guess it depends on the type of music.

Serge Gainsbourg and Sigur Rós are two of my favorite artists and I delve into a lot of African music, so yes.

I love Japanese music. Every now and then they slip in English though.
I try to diversify the language in my music, therefore, I wish I had more foreign bands.

<------- of course. Aside from them, 99.9% of music I listen to while I study/work is in a different language...it lets me keep it in the background because I'm not constantly singing along in my head.

If the music is worth listening to, but lyrics are huge to me.
ex: Mars Volta.
I enjoy listening to lyrics and being able to sing along. If I don't get it, I don't listen to it.

And I guess I'm only half-joking when I say that. He is one of the foreign guys I listen to.

Sigur Ros and Mars Volta are the only ones I'll listen to, and I can only take so much. Knowing what's being said is big for me.
