View Full Version : Films You've Seen Multiple Times In Theatres

Until The Bombs

What film(s) have you seen at the theatre the most times? How many times?

For me; Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix at least 7 or 8 times while I worked at a theatre.

Yay! Thanks for starting it.

For me, it's definitely LOTR: ROTK. I saw it maybe 5-6 times. I knew a guy in high school though that was more obsessed with LOTR than me, and he came to school that Wednesday premiere day dressed as Frodo. He then watched it once a day from Wednesday to Sunday, 5 times in a row. This movie is 3 hours and 20 minutes, yep.

Never seen one more than twice I don't think, in that short period of time it's in theaters I remember the whole movie and it's just not enjoyable for me, but then a few months later I can pick up stuff I missed the first time

I usually only catch them once in theaters. I don't see movies as often as I'd like. It's once they come out on DVD that I cycle through them multiple times. I did see Up twice though.

The only time I can think of seeing a movie more than once is Pineapple Express (twice). I haaaate seeing movies more than once in theatres.

Maybe it's just largely a working at theatres thing. I've seen countless movies at least twice during my combined five years at two theatres. Can't think of a film I've seen twice in theatres since then though.

Oh God, I saw the Dark Knight about 6 times in theaters. The second time was justified, because I was so excited the first night I ended up missing some of the story and such. Then the other 4 I have no excuse for.

Seen the original Dawn Of The Dead at least 10 times in the theater at different horror conventions.

In high school we had a theater that show Rocky Horror Picture show at midnight every saturday, until the city shut them down we'd go at least once a month all though 10th and 11th grade. I still have great memories of that.

I pretty much never pay to see a movie twice in theaters, even when I really just love it. I just can't justify paying to see a movie second time when there are a lot of movies I'm also interested in seeing and other things I need that money for. Any more than twice in theaters just seems like ridiculous overkill to me. I'll wait for DVD rental or download to become available.
