Wang has pitched well so far, but he is in some trouble right now. Matsui made a great play though.

i've been to both stadiums for a sox-yankee game, and honestly I found that Fenway is much more hostile. I was smart not to wear any yankee gear. There is some yelling and taunting at the yankee games, but I saw some insane stuff at Fenway.

really? i was at the game where sheffield and the fan had that incident, and even that game didnt get carried away. from my experience, yankee fans dont get heckled unless they open there mouth.

i saw a little girl getting taunted. that was bad. and i saw someone get a beer thrown on them. maybe it was just a bad day.

My dad went to Philly for a Giants/Eagles game in the late 80's..him and his friend wore Giants jerseys. Some old lady cursed my dad out and a guy threw a hot dog at my dads friend. Apparently, Eagles fans are the worst.

But this is baseball so that doesn't matter.

probably. there's always a few people who are wasted and cause trouble, especially against new york. fenway, in general, isn't bad at all though.

beautiful place. usually at the yankee games there are little to no problems unless the Sox are winning and some drunk guy in the bleachers start shit, but security stops that. yanks security is tough.

I think the problem with Fenway is less yankee fans show up then do Sox fans in NY. I'm not exacty sure why that would cause problems, but its an explination.

the sox-yanks rivarly in a nutshell.

my brothers friend ray lemoine is the dude who started Yankees Suck Inc., the dudes who make the shirts.

one day after a yanks/sox affair, he was sellin on the bridge heading towards fenway. a girl of no more than 10 with a yankees hat stopped him and said "why are you so mean to the yankees?"

ray replied, "cuz jetahs a fahckin homo."

see that's my only problem. rivalry is great, but sometimes it's just terrible. I have a 4 year old daughter and I swear to God if any Sox fans ever says anything to my daughter...I'll be in jail.

yeah, they stay on newbury street usually when they come to town and one day i was down there when a few of them were just coming out of limos. they hung around for a minute and signed autographs ( i saw this from afar, in no way was i trying to get a sig). i give them credit for that.

i do hate arod though. and sheffield. and sturtze. and posada. and johnson. and mussina. and jeter.

matsui and bernie williams are cool in my book though.

Haha why would you hate sturtze? Posada and Jeter were the nicest ones I met. I spoke to Jeter for 15 minutes, which is like one of the pinacles of my life.

The only Sox i hate are Manny and Varitek. Manny I hate just because I feel like he has no respect for baseball at all. Varitek I just hate because I think he is a douche.

Ever since Manny was in the outfield with the water bottle in his back pocket I've despised him. Varitek just hates the yankees, so in turn I hate him. I really like Ortiz though.

i can't stand sturtze because he comes across as someone who should be in the WWE. It's weird too, cause he grew up in Worcester, which is 30 minutes outside of Boston. Besides A-Rod and Jeter, Sturtze is the first guy I want to fail when the two teams play.

Posada fouled off, and some guy leaned over to get the ball, his ass was literally half out of his pants.

I think Jeter is to the red sox as Ortiz is to the yankees. The only reason we dislike him is because they do well against each others teams. I like Ortiz a lot because of how he took less money to stay with the Sox.

yeah, my math professor lived next door to Varitek when he had a condo in Newton ...and he told us this story about one day when Varitek learned that my professor's son had cerebal palsy, he had the entire sox team sign a baseball and he brought over the ball and a signed jersey of himself to give to the kid.

varitek is easily my favorite red sox, with ortiz a distant 2nd.

I'm indifferent on A-Rod. I think he has a shitty rap in terms of how he is a douche bag. He plays hard constantly, and while the swatting was cheap he was simply doing it because he is so competitive. It was a huge mistkae none the less. If he does well in the playoffs he comes into a whole new light to me though.

What about when he saved that little kids life in Boston?
