This might sound very rude to say im sorry but i do LOVE SOCO first so dont rape me, but personally i think JAcks is just Soco again. Simply becasue the songs that Andrew wanted to write he couldn't with Soco due to the circumstances with label and stuff as well i think. Plus I just always felt he was the element of Soco anyone could of been replaced. I hear the drummer is drumming for some live dates with Will Tell(former soco guitarist.)

I hope that Soco breaks up because of Geffen, and then the other guys for jacks leave or quit and soco just joins him under that hahaha. Fuck contracts!

SoCo was never as poppy as JM. They had a smoother sound. All the songs seemed more thought out. It was a group effort, and it showed.

I don't think you meant it like that, but there is a lot mroe to Something Corporate than Andrew. There's also Brian, Clutch, and Josh, and also Bob, William, and Rueben, depending on how far you wish to go back. Josh wrote some of the best songs in the band's career and I don't think that the band would be as successful without the guys' effortless connection and all of their charisma and charm. Sure, the others are more "replaceable" to some extent, but Something Corporate DOES NOT = Andrew, not even close.

Oddly enough my two favorite songs from each album were 2 of those 3. Hurricane and my alltime favorite SoCo song Only Ashes. Hadn't really put 2 & 2 together before to realize that Andrew McAnything didn't even write my 2 favorite songs the band has ever released.

So for me saying that Andrew is SoCo doesn't jive. To me the dynamic of the collective SoCo group is just more electric and diverse than the one put together for JM. Not by much mind you, but enough that im really gonna miss it and not feel like JM is enough to fill the void it leaves if it is the end.

Maybe later in the future all of the "Creative Differences" can be ironed out. I wanna see another SoCo album. I highly doubt this is true. Monday night his uncle said that they are not pressuring Andrew to make any more music but are anxious to record new music. He said they were definitely getting back together, but it just might be a little longer than we think.

I agree totally, in a recent interview Andrew said that there WOULD be another SoCo album, it just isn't clear WHEN it's happening. So until I hear it from a good source I won't worry about it.
