Check all that you find this statement to be true to:
"I can hardly listen to __________________ anymore because the radio overplayed it."
Holiday and Wake Me Up When September Ends for me. Boulevard of Broken Dreams was close, but it's such a good song I can still listen to it occasionally. And I missed the boat when American Idiot was released as a single so fortunately I can still enjoy that one too. Those two songs sure bring back memories.

American Idiot. I really can't listen to that track anymore
i can't stand Wake me Up When September Ends, but the rest i can still stand
Oops, didn't read the question.
I don't listen to any of these anymore, but not because of the radio. Though the video for WMUWSE killed it for me. Awful.

These songs are all pretty much mind-numbingly repetitive... Once I counted that annoying riff in "Holiday" like 48 times or something.

Boulevard of Broken Dreams was the one song off that album that did nothing for me to begin with...much less after 14 thousand million radio plays. Jesus of Suburbia was my fav off of that CD
Edit: why the fuck can't I unitalicize myself?

Any of the first three, but I went with Holiday.
I actually still like Wake Me Up When September Ends.

It's sad how much radio can kill something. I can still listen to Wake Me Up...but the other ones aren't even like songs to me anymore (if that makes sense). Like you hear it and its like ok immediately OFF. I used to like them, now I dont.
Wake Me Up When September Ends is the only track I like from this list.

How about all of them. Never liked any to begin with. Green Day suck.

I always liked Boulevard of Broken Dreams. My friend and I had a running joke with that song.
But as soon as Wake Me Up When September Ends became popular, I began to detest it And it haunted me. It was everywhere. Radio, television, in stores / at the mall, movie theatres, hell it was even being played in Downtown Disney.

Holiday used to be one of my favorite songs off American Idiot, but now I can't even hear the first notes without wanting to punch a child. The other songs I can still handle for the most part.

Is it possible to say that I don't listen to any of them because Green Day is awful, crap? Then that's my answer.

Holiday, BOBD, and WMUWSE, but BOBD and WMUWSE especially. They're just words for me now. It really sucks when that happens.
Nope. They all still do it for me .
I don't listen to the radio much anyway, just a little NPR every once in a while.

I'm tired of the whole CD, but "Boulevard" was especially overplayed.

I used to wake up every morning with Boulevard on my radio. Still like it though. I chose Holiday and American Idiot, but I never really liked those two that much anyway

One of the reasons I hate Wake Me Up When September Ends so much is that it's the only single off the record that still gets a decent amount of airtime on the radio today.

The idea of hating songs because of radio airplay is silly.

It isn't because of the airplay, it's because of the songs being overplayed. Hearing a song over and over again, numerous times a day, gets irritating and it makes people never want to hear it again.

"Wake Me Up When September Ends" - I wasn't a huge fan of it to begin with, but I can't really enjoy listening to this song anymore.

I don't get that idea either. Why don't just turn off the radio? Or better, just listen to your own music?

Boulevard of Broken Dreams was always pretty lame to me. The song just seems... uninspired. It was my little brother who completely killed American Idiot. He had that track on repeat for days after he got the album.

I missed the singles boat for American Idiot and Holiday for some reason. I don't remember ever hearing them on the radio so I'm not tired of them yet. The other two, while they are great songs, are overplayed for me :/
