It bothers me that Thrice has only sold just under 200k.

the album is so amazing, and being the co-headline for the Taste Of Chaos...

I could honestly see Island dropping Thrice if they dont break the 500k mark by the end of the year.

Scoot
04/06/06, 02:12 PM
Does this list account for albums sold at concert?
I'm asking most specifically for Thrice. If they're especially selling their album for 7 dollars on the Taste of Chaos tour, kids seriously need to friggin buy it.

GUNS N ROSES are on top. I can't beleive that their greatest hits outsold coldplay. The greatest hits doesn't even have Estranged, their best song. Green day is actually the frontrunner with over 5 million. But guns is 2nd.

i cant fucking believe panic at the disco's numbers... 30-something thousand this week... thats nuts. I never thought they would of blown up like that.

if you wanna talk about low... look at the new amsterdams numbers. I thought for sure it would be a lot more than 2000 albums.

yes the thrice numbers suck.. but they need to release 'of dust and nations' as a single. as good as red sky is.. its just not radio friendly at all. I cant see that song boosting album sales.

Atreyu's A Death-Grip on Yesterday (not on this list since it came out 3/28) has sold 69,000 copies and debuted at #9. I'm a gigantic Atreyu fan, but it sad to me.... it took probably a year for Suicide Notes to sell that many copies. and now they've pushed that many their first week. I just miss my favorite little unknown band. :'(

I'm sad for Thrice.
"Vheissu" is amazing...no wait, that's an understatement.
I'm also surprised that "Heroine" sells more than "Life on the Murder Scene". Then again, the first is a LP, the second is a DVD, so maybe I shouldn't be so surprised.
