Family Guy was funny....when I was in tenth grade. I have a friend in college who sadly still obsesses over the show. We're watching the opening game of the baseball season, and at 8:40 he says, "Uh...hey guys....new Family Guy at 9" as if we're all going to jump in the air and celebrate. That show isn't funny anymore. Too much drawn-out, predictive, irrelevant, overdone, and lame humor.

I dunno, when it got picked up again it was still pretty funny. But I'll agree that it's too much drawn-out. I never religiously watched it like a few of my friends did (It's not too popular over here in the UK). I had one friend who force-fed me quotes from it and watched them on Youtube in class. I'd subsequently laugh at him, since he laughs like a girl, but still, it's not that funny.

The older shows are alot better..the newer ones aren't as funny. The show is still hysterical most of the time. It's the fact that half of things that go on are so retarded, you have to laugh.

baseball is the most boring thing to watch on tv. the only thing that comes close to beating that is golf.

I'll concede that baseball CAN be boring, if a) I don't care about the teams, b) the game means nothing (both teams are so bad that they can't make the playoffs), or c) the game is a blowout, unless it's something awesome, like 20 runs for one team.

Yeah, I understand that baseball is no cake walk, but I have to agree with Greg in saying that it is one of the most boring things to watch on TV. I just thank Bill Simmons for helping me keep any interest in the sport really since I don't live in a town with team and all.

I'm lucky enough to live twenty minutes from Angel Stadium (an hour in traffic). My friend and I decided to drive down and get tickets to the last World Baseball Classic game the U.S. played, where they lost to Mexico. It was like 90% Mexican fans. So many Mexican wrestling masks....I was confused. I also saw an inflated condom floating around.

I don't know, you just need to have a local team that sucks throughout all your life, and then see them get good and win a World Series, and establish themselves as one of the best teams in the League. That's how it was for me growing up as an Angel fan. I wish I had a football team around here. For some reason, I became a huge Tampa Bay fan back when they sucked and wore the white and orange uniforms. Those were awesome.

Yeah, I had family members that were really into the Braves, so I check in on them quite often, but I don't get the same feeling from it that I do with football or basketball. I grew up close enough to New Orleans to latch onto the Saints, but no such luck with baseball. Those orange Tampa Bay jerseys were incredible. I like the new ones, but I definitely miss the old ones.
