I’m capped. 10 times at 22 and I fear
this is where it ends.
I stood alone at the valley of Gods
and faced them with
my sword and my tongue.
I walked across oceans to see the final breath of
those I loved.
I saw in them what they once saw in me
Fear. Deceit. Anger. Destruction. A heart so swollen and so dim and so confused it nearly could not live.
Apart from myself, I know no one
who truly lived to see today.
They have fallen ill from lack of belief, and now I give you
the same final warning I gave them-
Your hands mustn’t feel, your eyes need not see, your ears may lie useless; for it is in your souls that you live, and it will be in your very own soul that you may kill yourself.
