I own both. I would buy a live concert video CD of them too. They are funny live and just insane. Though, i Still like the Weak's End much much better.

I'm a fan of them and I own both those cds, but I dunno I'm just never in a mood where its like "I wanna listen to emery" like I do sometimes with other bands. Maybe I just need to give the CDs more listens and they'll grow on me more?

with all this success, i wonder if they will decide to go to a major. i'm sure majors have been courting them. and look at all the success they've had without any help from music TV networks. if anything the video for "studying politics" can only help them once it gets played on fuse or something

100,000 is amazing, but this figure should be at least doubled. I'll never forget the first time I saw Emery when they opened the Tooth and Nail tour 2 years ago. They said something to the effect of, "We're Christian, and if you're not that's cool with us, but this is where we come from..." and then they launched into "Walls." Awesome.

i hate the fact that i cant see these guys in a few days in cleveland, but they deserve it so much. they put out great music and are one of the best live bands i've ever had the pleasure of seeing....they leave so much of themselves on stage every night and there's nothing better than that. guess i'll have to wait until warped....

Well, lets see here. They're a musical band (hence them being reported on here like your quickness pointed out) and to survive they sell cds (these 'sale numbers' you speak of) and people like to see bands that they enjoy do well.

question: when a band on a smaller label sells a high amount of cd's such as emery how well off are they? i assume that the majority of the very rich musicians make a huge chunk of their money off endorsements but what about smaller bands like this, who are huge in our world? along with the likes of starting line, underoath, etc. bands who are huge here, but have yet to break it into the mainstream mtv audience

I love emery, I've only seen them live twice - both times they were amazing (very tight live show)...the weaks end met me right where I was, at that time in my life.
