I thought their second album was a big step forward but by no means did it have any lasting value for me. These guys came on the "scene" so hated after their first CD they were destined to fail.

but seriously, it is most peoples opinion shaant has a huge ego and is an asshole, which is probably true.
i think its just that coupled with his lyrics, the name of the band and the fact they make pop music.
i personally like them, and i tend to think he seems like an alright dude, not that ive met him or anything.

That's how I see them. I think they're unskilled musicians and everybody I've encountered in the music industry that has worked with them has said they're horrible to work with. I wish they would just not exist anymore.

I heard a demo somewhere of a new song by Cute and it honestly didnt sound that bad. Im sure it was much better than what shaant is going to do.

I remember they were on the Alternative Press up and coming bands along with As Tall As Lions and Envy on the Coast. CIWWAF is leaps and bounds under the other two bands, it almost pisses me off they got any coverage.

Rotation was pretty much a fail, and after that they pretty much gave up. It's definitely too bad that they took up space and time on a label when there are so many other driven and talented bands that would have done much more with the opportunity.At least now Dave can get back to working on his solo stuff full time.

yeah, i don't hate Rotation. it's nothing special, but it's a big step up from their first album which i was not a fan of at all.
i'm just glad Dave Melillo will have the chance to put out more solo stuff now.

There's a pretty discernable difference imo. Cute Is What We Aim For is on a whole other level of shitty. At least All Time Low has some catchy choruses.
