I like the Rolling Stones much more. Some Girls, Sticky Fingers, and Beggar's Banquet are all albums I love. I saw them three years ago, and they put on a spectacular live show. The Beatles are great, but I just like the Stones more

personally, i prefer zeppelin to either of them. but my old man is way into the who, the stones, the beatles, pink floyd, all the bands of his generation, and growing up on a lot of 60's-70's classic rock, that is the observation i have made.

I just started getting into Led Zeppelin because my dad (who usually is great with music) used to always tell me that Zep was overrated and so I never gave them a fair chance until recently.

i am convinced they are the best rock and roll band of all time. every member of that band is in the top 20 talent-wise at whichever instrument they play. and the fact that they were doing what they were doing in the 60s-70s just makes them even more of a mindfuck to me.

The Stones are god awful. I've listened to them since I was born and to this day haven't figured out one single redeeming quality to a single song or member of that band. It's boring, completely straight-forward, and shows no signs of creativity at any point.

:thumbup: I would go as far as to say you could argue any member in the top 10 all time. Even their bassist writes orchestra music. They are all incredible on their own, and together they were as close to perfect as there will probably ever be.
