Alright, so MLB the Show looked like straight up dick in a bag for graphics, but 2k6 got BURIED in every review I've read.... So has anyone played both? Can I get a straight opinion or review?

Otherwise I'm just gonna have to update MVP 2005's rosters.

I haven't played either of them but I am content with MVP 05 so I won't even bother getting either of those.

You have the show? Is it as buggy for you as it is for me. FUcking game freeezes every other game.

If the rights were bought why are there two games?

the 2006 (really '05) season title was buggy as hell and froze all the time, but the show (2006) has been great, the glitches are few and far between. and i haven't had any problems with freezing.

Other companies can make baseball games, but it can only be for one system. The Show is only for PS2. 2k only bought exclusive 3rd party rights

Too bad EA can't make MLB games anymore. MVP NCAA Baseball 06 is still quite amazing though.

is The Show EA's MLB game? I've been wanting a solid baseball (and hockey) game to buy for a while now..

Bah, they are both for last gen only apparently. The Show got way better reviews...

I don't really like it, I think the recruiting is lame as hell and for some reason hitting got ridiculously harder, even with using the classic style of 2005 hitting.

I wish that would work for the 360. Microsoft sucks... backwards-compatible, pff. None of the sports games will work on my 360... so I have to buy 2k6, and I can't get the NCAA Baseball which I had been dying for on Xbox, but for the last five years, not this year.

Theres a 1st baseman in the minors for the Red Sox named Bill Simmons. Sox fans would eat that shit up.

i kind of like the new hitting dynamics...once you get the hang of it..

and I think the hitting difficulty is just to add realism to the college game.
