Hey everyone, hope you've all had a great week. Here's my update this week, not too much going on in the way of news. The Simpsons trailer has me excited, there are various rumors about if Homer poisons the water supply or if they have to build a dome around Springfield so it looks like its going to be good.

News and Rumors:

Dane Cook has a couple of movies in the works. One is called "Dad Knap", where Cook stars as a guy who never had much time with his father so he kidnaps him to spend some quality time with him. The other film is titled "Mr. Brooks" where Cook's character blackmails Kevin Costner's character, who happens to have an alter ego. He will also start filming on the movie "Dan In Real Life", which also stars Steve Carrell.

The 4th Terminator movie is scouting for locations right now but word is that there might be an Arnold cameo but they're not sure if he'll fully return as it depends on his political career.

50 Cent and Nick Cage will co-star in "The Dance" the true story of boxing coach Billy Roth. Cage will be playing Roth and 50 cent will be playing an inmate who Roth feels can become a heavyweight champion.

Matthew Broderick and Danny Devito will star in a holiday comedy, "All Lit Up", where Devito's character decides to decorate his house with so many lights that it can be seen from space. Which irritates his neighbor (Broderick)

The upcoming movie "Tennis Coach" stars Seann William Scott, who plays a high school janitor who coaches a group of kids to the Nebraska state championships.

Sam Jackson will star in the Stephen King's "1408" about a haunted room and the paranormal occurrences in the Dolphin Hotel. Jackson will play the manager of the hotel.

Aaron Eckhart has signed on for "Bill" where he will play a man who finds his wife cheating on him only to have a revelation after getting plastered at a strip club.

Dreamworks on working on a movie version of the computer feature "Punk Farm" about a bunch of farm animals that want to form an underground rock band. There are already plans for a sequel entitled Emo Farm.

Andy Samberg, SNL Lazy Sunday Skit, will star in "Hot Rod", about an accident prone daredevil who wants to jump Snake River with his moped to win over his stepfather.

A new sci-fi trilogy based upon the Steven Gould novel is set to release. The first film in the trilogy, "Jumper", is about a kid from a broken home who finds out he can teleport. He goes out to find the man who killed his mother. The film will star Jamie Bell, Teresa Palmer, and Tom Sturridge.

George Lopez and Maggie Q have joined "Balls of Fury", the ping pong comedy also starring Christopher Walken and Dan Fogler. Lopez will play a FBI agent, Maggie Q will play the niece of Master Wong, who hasn't been cast yet. The film is directed by Ben Garant of Reno 911.

"Harry Potter and the order of Phoenix" has a release date of July 13th 2007

Mark Wahlberg is going to star in the remake of "Sharky's Machine". The film has Marky Mark as a cop who is demoted which he takes on cases of local government corruption.

Antonio Banderas will portray Hernan Cortes in "Conquistador" the story of Cortes' journey from Cuba to Mexico and the fall of the Aztec empire in 1519.

John Heder is going to star in the comedy "Loudermilk", not much on the story yet but will also star Chris Bowman and will be put out by Universal Pictures.

"30 Days of Night" will be in theaters Oct 19th 07, the movie is about a town in Alaska where the sun does not rise for 30 days. During the continued night time an evil rises from the frozen wasteland.

Dean Koontz's novel "The Husband" will have a movie adaptation. The movie is about a man who's love for his wife is put through a number of tests in an 60 hour period, when his day is ruined by a phone call from a stranger.

Harrison Ford says that there is about a 99 3/4% chance the 4th Indiana Jones movie will happen and hinted that it is likely Sean Connery will come back.

In the upcoming movie "The Nanny Diaries" which stars Paul Giamatti, Chris Evans, and Scarlett Johansson, is about a woman from NJ who becomes a nanny to a rich Manhattan family. Giamatti will play Mr. X the father of the family.

Jessica Alba confirmed that everyone from the first Fantastic Four will be back for the sequel and they might be getting the flying vehicle from the comics.

The upcoming movie "Blue State", which stars Anna Paquin and Breckin Meyer, is about a democrat (Meyer) who declares he will move to Canada if George W. Bush wins reelection. When he gets to Canada he meets Paquin's character who they share a mutual hate for W.

Rumors are going around that the Rodriguez/Tarantino horror movie "Grind House" has shut down due to Rodriguez's half going way over budget and behind schedule, no official word on that yet.

The Nickelodeon show "Drake & Josh" is going to be hitting the big screen.

Alan Ball (American Beauty, Six Feet Under) will be directing "Towelhead" which takes place in the Gulf War, about a 13 year old girl who must deal with a sexual obsession of an Army soldier.

Indiana Jones better happen, and I srsly don't understand why they'd make a Fantastic Four sequel, it was terrible; I can only imagine how bad it'll be if they include the flying vehicle.

I though most of the problems with F4 was the time spend to character development and not enough action. I think a sequal can be a great improvment becasue all the groudwork is already laid out.

Punk farm. .....wow. thats even worse than the punky chips ahoy.

And I love Indiana jones as much as the next person, not to mention one of the greatest epic theme songs of all time... but Harrison ford and sean connery are sooooo olddddd .....greaaaat ....Indiana Jones and the geriatrics of doom?

I hate how every new hollywood nowadays is a remake or a shitty milked out sad sequel.
Although, I must say, KING KONG WAS FUCKING AMAZING!!!!!
Peter Jackson made me feel more emotion for a giant monkey than George Lucas did with A HUMAN CAST in the new star wars movies!!! ...Makes you wonder....whatd it be like if Jackson made the new star wars flicks....

King Kong was boring as shit.

And let me tell you, I've had some boring shits.

Sometimes, it's exciting, like "Gee, I wonder what's gonna pop out next!!"

However, most of the time, I just want to get it over with.

Oh, and by the way, it's still not cool to hate on Star Wars.

Also, I am tired of hearing about Dane Cook.

HAHAHa, the FantastiCAR, thats its name. That would be really cool to see. And the movie was very good but I guess you have to be a crazy comic book lover to get into the character development.

Also the Fan4 are going to have a new cartoon series on cartoon network you can see the article at marvel.com
